I have naturally dark hair, but majority of my hair is bleached. I don’t notice any powdery texture or chalky color on my roots when using. I always use my fingers to rub in any dry shampoo, so I do the same with this one as well. I love the fresh scent and feel like it holds up well throughout the day. I also love that they have a travel size that I can take on trips or keep in my purse in case I need a touch up.

I recently tried Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Dry Shampoo and found it to be okay, but not my favorite. It absorbed some oil and was easy to apply, plus the scent was pleasant. However, it left a noticeable white cast on my hair until I took the time to rub it in well. The biggest downside for me was that the results didn’t last very long, likely because my scalp gets oily fairly quickly. Overall, it’s a decent option for a quick refresh, but I tend to prefer other dry shampoos that keep my hair looking fresh longer.

I used to use this dry shampoo when I was younger, and I decided to give it another try. It’s not bad. I find that it’s very average. It does leave a white cast and I have red hair so the white cast is noticeable if not rubbed in enough. It definitely does reduce the grease, but I find that I have to use a lot of the product in order to see the result.
