Review for: 6R, LIGHT AUBURN more...
Background:I have blondish- reddish- straw colored hair. It is long, fine, and straight. I have colored my bangs, and part of the hairline under my top layers of hair before. I have used both proffessional and box kit dyes. This was the first time I dyed my hair from roots to end. I have colored other peoples hair with box and proffessional dyes so I felt confident to apply and cover.
I used this product at my moms house as I am a new mother and wanted back up incase my baby boy woke from his nap. I was worried about chemical smell, skin reaction, how the color would take (gingers have a hard time absorbing color), and if my hair would be damaged after. Also if it would look natural.
The product:I used Clairol Nice 'n Easy new formula in shade 6R. Light auburn. The picture on the box that best matched my shade showed a light gingery red (I know not to trust the box).  The product says its hypoallergenic and sensitive to skin. Also that it has a floral smells and will cover gray. Came with coloring mix, gloves, and color conditoner.
Application:I didn't shampoo or conditon my hair the day I applied (which killed me as I have to wash my hair everyday). My roots were a little oily and my length wasn't oily but not dried out either. I read the directions a few times and chose to do the 2nd method of all over coverage and let color sit for 25 minutes. I mixed the color and shook well. Applied vaseline around my hair line and ears. Started with roots and went to town. I was pleased with how little of a mess I made with this dye. My mothers sink had a few spots which wiped away easily. The smell was horrible. Which I had read in other reviews and figured I'd be fine. It choked me. The first minute or two it was okay but by the end I was sick to my stomache and my eyes burned. The actual die made my hair purple at first then lightend as time went on. It took 1 kit to color my head and length. It is in fact pretty drip free but I made a mess on my old teeshirt as expected.  After 25 minutes I couldnt wait to escape the smell and rinse my hair. It rinsed out quickly and felt like I was washing conditioner out of my hair so thats nice. The conditioner smells awful too. Florally/ chemically. I dried my hair had very little bleed into a towel.
Results:My hair was soft. At first I was shocked by the color. Dark violet red underneath and dark redish orange on top. As it dried I was somewhat pleased. The smell was very bad however my hair was soft smooth and had nice shine. I waited almost 48 hours to wash my hair. Both nights I went to bed and all I could smell was the awful dye and it made me so sick to my stomache. I reccomend using old pillow cases. I washed my hair in cool water with Herbal Essences Argon Oil of Morocco. Which is color safe. I thought my hair would bleed but it didn't. After drying the underneath looks a little dull but the top roots look a tad more orange and have some sheen. Its not the natural color I was looking for but I dont dislike the end result.
Above I will include pictures of before coloring and after washing.

I just recently dyed my hair at home with the Clariol Nice n Easy Ultra cool summer blonde dye. I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome! I have multi tonal hair in a ombre or Bali look and had major major natural growth. I was just tir ed of how dark my base was and decided to give it a try. At home dye reminder: if you have portions of natural hair and say bleach blonde tips, make sure you do your best to get as little dye on those already compromised hair sections. You'll say thank you in the end. Those sections won't dye the same and it's possible to end up with green or grey tips. In the end the base of my hair lighten a great deal. I have a bit of red /organ overtones that I plan using a purple shampoo to help our with.

Review for: Clairol Nice 'n Easy 7 106A Natural Dark Neutral Blonde 1Kit more...
I naturally have a light brown hair color but I had previously gotten full highlights at a salon and no longer wanted to deal with the constant upkeep of being blonde. I picked up this color because I read from other reviews to go with a lighter color than what you want for the end result, and I'm glad I did my research before picking my box dye color. I took off a star on my review because this end result color difference is quite drastic from what's pictured on the box. I do understand that the box dye will react differently to different hair textures and colors, but so many people also had the same experience of having a darker result than the pictures on the box show. Luckily this shade came out to be very close to my natural hair color. The application process was easy and the directions were simple. My hair also felt very soft and silky. I highly recommend this box dye, just beware that your color result will most likely be darker than what is pictured on the box.

Review for: Clairol Nice 'N Easy Permanent Hair Color R8 Rich Medium Blonde 1 Kit more...
I received this item in medium beige as a gift for my honest opinion of the product from PinchMe. I have to say that I have used this product in the past and the new enhancements are amazing. There's a much better fragrance now, more floral and less of the chemical scent. The formula is much thicker and doesn't drip like many others do also, allowing more of the product to be of use in the dying process. There's also a much better moisturizing formula now than before, my hair hasn't felt this soft and manageable after coloring at home I don't think ever. I definitely recommend this brand and this new formula and already have actually!

I have no complaints so far for this dye ! The color is as shown on the box , directions are easy to follow and compares great compared to other products. It doesn’t seem to damage your hair as much as other box dyes. The conditioner it comes with is fantastic too! It makes your hair smooth and shiny Clairol Nice'n Easy Permanent Hair Color

I received this product with a coupon through I’m glad I didn’t pay for this product because I would’ve been disappointed. The scent says floral which I’ll agree, it doesn’t smell as harsh as other at home hair dyes. Also, it’s super easy to apply and the wait time isn’t bad, the directions are straight forward. That’s all that i liked about this product. It left my hair feeling and looking dry and it did not produce the color that it should have.

So i recently used the new version of this hair dye that has a built-in conditioning protection i was so afraid regardless lol i dyed only a section of my hair in the back. Let me say that the color i went for is light auburn and i have almost black hair but after wash out it didnto see and thing but maybe two days later it lifted my hair color to like a fawn color. And i can confirm that my hair feels just as the rest of my hair does.

I got this dye free with a coupon from PINCHme. I've used nice n easy in the past but it's been years. The new formula boasts a floral scent however it does have a slight hint of dye odor but it is much less harsh than most. The directions are easy to understand and follow. The product itself is easy to use. According to the box my natural light brown hair should have turned out a much lighter red shade. It came out more of a mahogany color but I like it a lot, it does have some coppery tints in certain lighting which gives it a nice multidimensional appearance. Overall, I'm pleased.

I found out that this is the dye Christina Hendricks (Joan from Mad Men) uses to get her trademark red hair so I had to try it! My hair was already dyed auburn/copper, but it had faded over six weeks and wasn’t even. This dye has no chemical smell and didn’t stain, which is honestly a miracle. It’s also much cheaper than other drugstore brands, but you’re getting the same product. I’d love to try this over blonde hair to see if it can go bright copper.

If anyone has used the nice and easy Clairol hair color in a natural light auburn can you let me know what type of results have gotten. I wonder if you get the high and low lights like they say.
My hair is naturally a dark blonde/light brown and I bleached it and put an ash light ash toner on it I have light skin and blue eyes I've got about an inch of new growth and my hair seem to be very brassy underneath the bleached outer layers With all that going on do you think it's wise to Color it Sunkissed "Sandy Copper Blonde"?
