Cinema Secrets Ultralucent Setting Powder
This product is just not great, I read rave reviews on it before purchasing and have been highly disappointed. It works good for setting the face and eye primer but for my forehead wrinkles and under my eyes it makes my creases even more noticeable! If you are purchasing this product do your self a favor and skip this one and use the RCMA powder. It’s cheaper and works a million times better.

I am so happy I found this because I have not been able to wear makeup without getting an allergic reaction or more acne. After doing a lot of research I found this company. I am happy the way it feel on my skin its light on the face. I am satisfied with the shade I bought.
I have to say, this translucent powder took the place of my beloved Laura Mercier Loose setting powder. This baby sets all my make just right and i stay pretty matte for a decent couple of hours before I need to blot. One thing that sold me on this powder is that it doesn't turn my makeup a different shade or look too pink, like I felt the Laura Mercier did if i put on a little too much. I think it's a fantastic setting powder and I'm so glad I came across this brand! Will repurchase and recommend!
I love how it has good ingredients, and it was very silky smooth did not disrupt my concealer or foundation. Since it is colorless it did not brighten under eye area. BUT it gives a really bad white/gray cast on flash photography. In person, it's really good! It isn't drying either. I am going to see reviews for other colors since I used the colorless one.
I bought this product to help control my combination skin. It's great for my T-zone area where it is very oily, but on my dry skin areas this seems to make my make-up look extra flaky. Maybe it's because its super dry there? The colorless product is great in a sense that you can share it, granted it did make my tanner skinned sister look a little ghosty.
I love this powder more than anything I’ve tried. Let me say though, this isn’t for baking. Take it from me lol made this mistake and had terrible flash back. It really does give your face a beautiful finish and keeps my makeup on pretty long. This keeps me matte and helps my makeup not move. Love the price point also!
This is one of the best loose setting powders on the market. It is relatively affordable, efficient, and the packaging works well. I have used this for about two years and I will keep going back to it. It's one of the most underrated powders in the market and I wish more people knew about it!
Colorless setting powder is a must in my makeup routine!! I set under my eyes and on the corners of my nose. My makeup stays out all day and there is no creasing. When I take pictures there is no flashback. Good value for the price!!
I have used quite a few loose setting powders in the past but I have always had issues with them causing flashback or breaking me out. I’ve used all of the popular powders, like Laura Mercier, MUFE, and Tarte, but this one is my favorite! It is silicone free so great for acne prone or sensitive skin. I usually set my undereyes with this and just dust a light amount on my t-zone to tone down the dewiness of Laura Mercier Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation. I have never had any flashback with this product, unlike the horrible white mask that MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Microfinish Powder gave me. I also love how affordable this product is! It has simple packaging but a great formula and it keeps the cost low. I was deciding between this and RCMA No Color Powder, but I didn’t want to deal with that messy packaging and Cinema Secrets being available at Sephora makes it easy for me to pick up without having to make an order big enough for free shipping at other retailers. I’m not sure why the colorless powder has less product than the other shades, but it is so cheap for such a high quality product I don’t really care. I highly recommend to everyone! One jar lasts me a year
I tried the laura mercier setting powder but find it too expensive, this one works like it but cheaper. Plus it doesn't contain talc. Would definitely repurchase again and again.
Q & A
I have heard of setting powder and seen it used but I'm not exactly sure how or what to use this product for. Can anyone explain?
Is it translucent? Where can I buy it?
How does the makeup look after using this powder is it cakey?
Is there a product similar to this one, that's a little less expensive
Does this product leave your face matte all day? I have really oily skin and I've actually been trying to find a good finish powder.
