Just got home from my local Chipotle and wanted to review it. When they first opened in Ohio 15 or so years ago, I really enjoyed going there for a meal and haven't had it in a couple of years. Today I was excitedly looking forward to eating there but I left with a unsatisfied feeling and belly. My order was a burrito bowl with a flour tortilla on the side; they scooped me up some white rice, black beans, fajita vegetables and carnitas. After eating my bowl I realized that the rice in my bowl mostly turned purplish-black from the bean juice. I had it topped with red tomato salsa, salsa verde, corn salsa, guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese and lastly, chopped romaine. I was a bit miffed that I got maybe four chunks of pork carnitas, that the sour cream was a bit runny and was charged $2.05 for a teaspoon of guacamole. I guess the trick is to order the guacamole on the side. Overall, it was good. I really needed a knife to cut up the big piece of pork but they didn't have any. Most of the customers eat it in burrito form and can bite into the all the meat and fillings easily. The meat was tender and tasty but I got grossed out by the purple rice and runny sour cream. I ate 1/3 of it along with a pineapple-orange-banana Nantucket Nectar juice drink. I paid $7.30 for the carnitas bowl + $2.05 for the small spoonful of guac and $2.80 for the juice = $13.12 because I dined in and paid tax. As a Post Script, I wanted to add that they have cut down on serving sizes and will offer more rice, salsas and fillers for free just by asking; guacamole and extra meat cost more though. A friend recently complained to Chipotle's corporate office online about her dinky servings given to her from a totally different location from mine and they flat out told her just to ask for more; my friend here is tiny and I'm sure she doesn't have a voracious appetite, but still if you have to ask then that sucks. Granted, I know about cost-saving measures trickling down from management and employees/customers wasting food but what about us that do eat the whole thing?

I dont go that often, but Chipotle is definitely worth the price because the portion size is big and if you choose the right options, it can be healthier than most fast food places.
You get veggies, protein, and carbs all at once! If you order a veggie bowl, you don't have to pay the extra  $1.80 for guac , so that's nice. I usually don't get drinks from there, but for a side, their chips and salsa are pretty good!
FOR MY FELLOW MUSLIMS OR VEGANS!!!!!!! THE PINTO BEANS ARE NOT HALAL THEY ARE COOKED IN PORK, so just be aware and go for black beans.
*Sometimes you need to hassle the workers for more of something you want, whether it be the pico de gallo, rice, etc, they can be stingy at times, so just ask for more, it's not extra cost.....I will keep going as long as the food stays affordable and the portions stay as large and filling as they are.

My first time trying this place was in October in Elk Grove, California! I wasn’t too sure on how to order but I’m glad my fiancé took me to try this place. I got the 3 taco’s when I went there. Second time I went to Chipotle was when I went to Las Vegas the month after I went to California, this time I tried their bowls. Both visits the food was really delicious! It’s really affordable. I’d choose this place over Moe’s. Now days everytime I crave for Chipotle I have to sacrifice and eat at Moe’s because out here in Hawaii we don’t have chipotle! Please bring chipotle down to Hawaii!!!!!! But I sure can’t wait til June when I’m back in California!

Chipotle revolutionized quick serve and forever changed the landscape of affordable, quick eating. I have an appreciation for how high quality their food is while remaining relatively affordable. I like how they use local produce and more natural meat options. And I love the variety their simple menu really does offer. I always get through even the longest lines quickly and I also find online ordering to be a lifesaver for our office. Really, this is one of my go-to options for a solo or an office lunch and I absolutely never tire of their food.

I love chipotle... Food is good. Always fresh. You basically get to pick exactly what you want. They have options you can pick from like tacos
(Crunchy or soft/corn or flour), burrito, bowl n quesadilla I think. I usually get the bowl Bc the burrito is usually super stuffed and messy to eat. They give you the option of black or pinto beans, white or brown rice, choice
Of meat, salsas and sour cream and cheese. You can also ask for lettuce or guac if you're feeling adventurous and hacer he extra 1.95 they charge for guac. It is delicious! I always get the chicken bowl and add veggies to it. They also have a vegan option. I would not recommend the steak Bc it is pretty chewy and not necessarily good. My husband loves steak but he hates steak bowls at chipotle. They also have a new chorizo option but I haven't tried it just yet. The staff at this location is awesome. They're pretty good about getting everyone through the line quickly and doing so with a smile. Check them out if you haven't already done so

This is literally the best food option ever. I always describe it to people as a Mexican food version of Subway. You go in, choose bowl, tacos, or burritos, then fill it with whatever. It is an especially great place for vegans (their sofritas are tofu) and everything is honestly pretty healthy unless you smother it in cheese or something. It is actually pretty quick even if there is a huge line and the staff are open and friendly. The prices are reasonable and it's literally so amazing. I could be craving  pizza or cupcakes but if a Chipotle is near... game over

I love chipotle. Their burrito blows are fav. I never had a problem with their cosutmer service or food. So hearing that at some loactions they had rats falling from their ceiling and people were getting sick off their food. That put me off and i havent ate from there since. Its very discouraging and that pretty much tained the company and their stuggling for their good name but damage is already done. I will not risk my health so ill never eat at chipotle again. I gave them 5 stars base of my experience when i use to eat there.

The greatest restaurant on Earth. I have celiac, which means I cannot eat gluten, and this place has been my savior. I treat myself to a steak bowl from here every weekend and for the price you do get a good amount of food. The only reason I only eat it on the weekend is because I’m a college student on scholarship so my funds aren’t even close to extravagant. The food is always good quality and fresh and the lines move quick even if they’re super long. There’s even an app to order ahead for pick up if you’re in a rush and don’t want to wait in line. I’ve rarely had bad experiences with workers at multiple locations. There’s also enough food choices that both adventurous and picky eaters would be able to find something they love. Overall, just a great place.

Chipotle gets a firm "no thank you" from me.  The barbacoa beef is really tasty, but literally every time I've had Chipotle, my stomach has been very upset later.  Not sure which food item it is, but it's not worth it for me!  I guess I'd recommend it but with a note of caution - if you have a sensitive stomach, maybe opt for something else.

Burrito bowls are my favorite. I honestly think Chipotle is one of my favorite food places. Their food is excellent quality. I don’t go to as much as I would like because i dont have one close to my way. The only con is the fact that there is always something happening with the lettuce being uses (ex. E Coli bacteria).. it’s the only downside
