CHI Original 1" Ceramic Hairstyling Iron
CHI Original is an old faithful. Using the CHI Ceramic technology it is delivering a moist heat instead of a dry heat which can damage the hair. CHI original is 385 degrees proving you do not need 450 degrees on your hair. You can straighten and curl hair with a CHI original because of its beveled edges. Yes I highly recommend a CHI iron every time.

I have had my CHI for YEARS. Im gonna say about 7 years now. It heats up very fast. It straightens my hair better than any other product that I have used. I feel like it causes less damage than other products as well. All these years and it's not even rusted. I highly recommend this product. It is worth the money and will last a very long time.
Definitely worth the purchase. I was hesitant to invest in a good straightener, but I am so glad I did. I bought this product about 3 years ago and it is still going strong. I love my CHI iron and I do not think I can go back to any other brand. This iron leaves my hair smooth and straightens it super fast. Buy it, you wont regret it.
I had the same CHI straightener for almost 10 years. It finally died a few months ago and it was one of the worst days. I used to love that it was a pre-set temperature. It always left my hair feeling so smooth and good and left it straight for up to 2 days. Would definitely buy another one (was gifted another brand for Christmas) they are a little pricey though
This review is for the Air Classic gold hair straightener by CHI. Great product, I like the adjustable heat setting. Second straightener I have owned and it gets the job done. The technology is probably dated now compared to other items on the market but this is a good investment as well as a good tool to get used to straightening hair.
I got this straightener for Christmas a year ago after I wore out my old straightener. I was hesitant to use it at first because the sides of it weren't wide which meant i'd have to put in smaller amounts of hair into the straightener. It straightens my hair well! My hair has a bad tendency of curling up at the ends but the heat from this straightener keeps my hair pin straight for the whole day! To me, it's just like any other straightener you can find, there's nothing too special or unique about it. I don't know the price of it exactly since I got it for a gift, but I can imagine that it would be somewhere from $50-80 for the brand. It's a good straightener, I wouldn't not recommend it!
I've been using the brand CHI hair straightener for 10 years now. I'm on my second straightener. The first went through a lot in my college years and got really disgusting. The one I have now has lasted me for for the past 6 years. I absolutely love this iron! It's really worth the money. They last ALONG time. I find that it does not fry the ends of my hair. Definitely a high quality product!
I’ve had this flat iron for about 5 years and I never had any problems with it. I love the different temperature settings, always start with lower and make your way up as you see you need it. It leaves my hair super shiny and it doesn’t burn it. I use it twice to three times a week. Super recommend, it’s the best flat iron I’ve ever had.
I swear by the chi flat irons. My first chi flat iron broke and I didn’t have the money to immediately replace it. I bought a cheaper brand and spent $25 and hated that I wasted my money. The off brand didn’t completely straightening my hair. I felt like it fried my hair as well. Not to mention, within minutes of going outside my hair would frizz up. I finally broke down and bought another chi. For the price and availability in stores, this is one of the best straighteners. It has different temperature settings for different hair types. It has ceramic plates that leave your hair feeling silky smooth and not immediately damaged or dry. Overall, this product is a great value for the money.
This is the best straightening iron I have ever came across. I do recommend getting some of the Chi Iron Guard Protection Spray, to spray on your hair before using the straightener, so the the heat will not damage your hair. (I recommend this with any straightener). I would recommend the Chi to anyone who wants to straighten their hair.
