Most definitely! This product is super harsh on the hair so always, always use a protector!

You have to!!! You will ruin your hair if you don't use a heat protectant spray.

I don't usually. My hair gets oily fast, and especially when I straighten it, so I don't like to add product. I know it's bad for my hair, but don't worry, I usually don't straighten it so my hair isn't THAT damaged.

It's really important to use one because heat can be really damaging to your hair. My favorite is the Redken Iron Silk, and its not oily plus it smells really good.
