All chi products are amazing, their straighteners being the holy grail of straighteners. It gets super hot very quickly which is perfect for me because straightening my hair is the last part of my morning beauty routine and at that point I'm in a rush. I have pretty straight, virgin hair so this works wonders for me I only have to go over each section of hair once and it is perfectly straight and has additional shine to it as well. Although I know all heat products damage hair, this Chi straighter always leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth. Costs more than drug store Conair hair straighteners... Or any other brand of cheap straighteners... but the results in comparison to other less expensive straighteners is no contest. Plus I have owned this for years and still works as well as when I first got it.

I have mixed feeling about my chi. I have had it for years-like probably 6 years. So it’s obviously a sturdy product, and works great for simply straightening my hair. However... now that beachy flat iron waves are all the rage I have gotten very very annoyed with my chi. The dial that controls the temperature is very easy to accidentally hit (changing the temperature) when you are twisting the straighter to create waves. Thankfully whatever my method of curling is only ever turns down the temperature and the result is an unsuccessful wave and not burnt hair....
I think if if you want a sturdy affordable product to straighten your hair it’s fine. But in my experience this is not the right product for curling your hair. Get a straightener with buttons and not a turn dial.

I have been using this iron for a year now and I think it's pretty great! It heats up super fast (less than a minute) and distributes the heat along my hair very evenly. I have naturally curly, frizzy hair and just one pass of this iron is enough to give me super sleek hair. I love that the shape is perfect for curling too, and the casing feels sturdy.

The only downside I've experienced is that lately my hair has been getting caught and pulled between the plate and casing. I don't know if this is a design flaw or just wear and tear from using so often (I use this every other day), but it has gotten to the point where I may be looking for another iron. I never had issues with this one in the beginning, so I may try another CHI and see how that goes.

This is the one that started it all. But it is just your basic flat iron. The technology hasn’t advanced so it’s not the best one on the market but it still gets the job done beautifully. This is a great flat iron for virgin hair and hair that just needs a little straightening. I wouldn’t suggest this one for anyone who has color treated, damaged, dry, or super thick and curly hair. There is no temperature control which is key if you have any of the above hair types. If you’re new to the straightening game or you have pretty straight hair and just need it for a few places then this is great. Otherwise invest in a better one like the Brazilian Blowout Flat Iron... that one is the best one I’ve ever used.

A CHI was my very first high end hair iron.  My first one lasted three years, used my warranty, and then it lasted another two years. You really can't beat that value!  The second CHI I bought is still working after four years.  I use it almost every day.
I have thick, wavy hair.  I separate my hair into 2-3 sections to get the smoothest look.  It doesn't pull or tug at my hair.  I would recommend using a heat protectant spray with this iron because it gets extremely hot.  I mainly use this to get a straight and sleek look, but it can also be used to get a wavy, beachy curl.  I love this iron!

I LOVE my chi! Chi flat irons are literally the only flat iron that will straighten my stubborn hair. They are definitely worth the money, especially if you have stubborn wavy/curly hair like I do. I don't feel like this flat iron really damages my hair either. I bleach my hair, and I can tell the majority of the damage comes from that. Over the year, my household has bought 4 chis (1 broke, 1 for me, 1 for another, and 1 back-up). We've bought them from various places, including JcPenney's and Ulta. I highly recommend this flat iron to anyone wanting actually straight hair.

where do i even begin?!?! this is the second chi i have owned over the last 9 years. in seventh grade i got my first one for christmas- fast forward a year, i come home to a chewed up CHI cord and i’m a very sad girl. i ended up getting a new one for christmas that year, and 8 years later i’m still using the exact same one!!!!! this flat iron has lasted me so long that when it finally does break down on me i don’t think i could be upset. i will be driving straight to the store to buy a new one though! best flat iron ever.

Every CHI straightener I have owned has worked so well!! It gets hot extremely quick and it only takes me like 15-20 minutes to do my hair instead of 45-60 minutes with my old straightners. I have very long, thin hair so its hard to find good products for my hair type but I am so grateful I was able to get a CHI on sale for only 60 bucks at Burlington!!

Although this flat iron is very basic, it works great! It heats up super fast and indicates when it is done heating up. The heat from the iron distributes onto my hair very evenly. I have naturally straighter, thin hair, so it gets the job done quick. The only downside to this product is there is no heat adjustments, so for someone with thinner hair, the heat may be a lot more harsh. I always use heat protecting spray before I use this and my hair continues to look healthy and does not have any heat damage!

Hands down the best straightener I have ever used. I use it to straighten, curl, and add body to my hair. I got my black one at a hair salon, and my contour fushia one af Walmart salon. I also have the one where you can change the temperature on it. It’s all ceramic which is better for your hair. I recommend to anyone and everyone. Just one of my favorite straighteners ever. You can get them from $50-100 depending where you buy from. But you can buy them from hair salons, beauty shops, and online.
