I am almost 72 now & remember well as a youth my mother always, always used "Cheer" as her laundry detergent...so have I my entire life.
I am rather very super picky, especially with all my wearable clothing and I want to keep them looking colorful & clean.
Years ago when Cheer released their "Cold Water Cheer" to help keep clothing bright in all colors I was elated as I had always laundered my clothing in cold water anyway.
Almost all of my line of clothing...from Casual to Dress mode I buy are of "Ralph Lauren - Signature Design." Originality & being very well made are both of great importance to me. This particular famous designer line can be quite $$$ thus I give them & TRUST them ONLY to & for both the money & dynamic color saving of ' Color Saving-Cold Water' Cheer!!.....it is the upmost #1 of my laundry cleaning care & coupled with keeping all the colors-including Bright Whites!..... always Vivid & Bright!...load after load...including ALL my other items--bed sheets, white under garments & colored & white socks, towels, etc.
That all said & after all these many years, there would be no reason for me to ever look back at the rear view mirror...... for any different or other laundry detergent....ever.
I use this primarily this soap for my darks and brights to help prevent fading. I love how good this product works. It is affordable, smells good and doesn't fade my clothes
This detergent smells wonderful! It also works fabulously! My grand daughter got lip stick (yip stick) all over her favorite PJ's. We didn't pre-treat or anything since they're just pj's but we were absolutely AMAZED that all of the "yip stick" came out and the little fox pj's were stain free!
Great clean scent. No floral fragrance or overwhelming perfume smell. A little bit goes a long way.
Great for sensitive skin types. Gets clothes clean without leaving me itchy like other brands.
This is legit the only detergent I have ever used. My Mom used it and when I moved out I took that tradition with me. I have very sensitive skin and this works...I’m honestly afraid to try anything else. If it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it!
Not a fan. I felt like the buildup was insane for each load. Maybe they work better with a top loader that uses more water tho?
I have very dry sensitive skin. Cheer was recommended for me by my doctor when I was a child. As I got older I used a couple different brands but always came back to this. It does great with cleaning and has a light scent. It is great for sensitive skin types.
I wanted something that would keep my colors and especially my darks, which compose the vast majority of my wardrobe, from looking dull and dingy. After much research, I settled on Cheer. This detergent is not only a great value but seems more multi-use than other similar detergents I have tried, meaning I could use it on both my blacks and my mustard yellows. This is not true of all such detergents, since plenty impart a subtle blue tint. I am quick to jump on anything more multipurpose, of course. If you're looking for a similar detergent that will better-maintain the variety of colors in your clothing clothing, give this option a try.
This is my favorite detergent to purchase for dark colored clothing. I feel it keeps blacks black longer. It’s also sensitive enough for my sensitive skin.
