I am definitely a chapstick gal. I have at least 1 stick in every bag I carry, 1 on my desk at work, 1 on my nightstand, several backups in my vanity. Never too many chapsticks

Chapstick..always. Carmax always seems to melt on me when it gets warm. Chapstick may soften up after a day in the car or at the beach, but it never gets goopy!

Carmax! Chapstick only works for like 5 minutes and then they are back to feeling dry and gross.

Carmex is better for cold sores than it is for chapped lips; Chapstick not only helps with chapped lips but also has more than just one flavor.

I prefer carmax, but works better when you buy it in the little tub size and not the tube size.

I used to say carmex but I like the new flavors of chapstick. Both are good and reasonably priced.

I love both of them, I think it just depends on what you prefer. I only use the carmex in the chapstick tube things. However, carmex is more greasy and chapstick is more subtle

I actually would prefer chapstick I used it as a child/teen and loved it but since I moved carmax is more readily available so I use that.

If I were to recommend one of them I would say Chapstick. This is because I feel safer using it. I love and use both but when I get some of the Carmex in my mouth I feel like it is not meant to be there and that it could make me sick. If some of the Chapstick were to get in my mouth it wouldn't bother me. I really love both but Chapstick is better over all.

Carmex is sooo much better quality, I can sleep one night with it and my chapped lips will be healed. I use ChapStick more for carrying around in my pocket during the day.
