This brand has always been around and always the go to product. You had one in your purse, your car, your dresser, and even your back pocket because you never knew when you were going to get hit with needing it, or I guess truly one should say you could always anticipate when u needed it that’s why you had so many around the house and on your person. Chapstick is the relief one looks for in a crises but upon further inspection it doesn’t honestly help the situation but causes the situation to increase. It’s addicting to use. Your lips are never actually healed or moisturized. Every 3-5 min someone has to reapply and if you don’t have the product with you or can’t find it it causes u to go on a mad hunt to get. It’s as if the product tricks u into thinking it’s working and that’s why u constantly need it until u find the product that isn’t afraid to keep you moisturized for long period of time in between and your lips truly begin to heal. Sure it’s cheap and your lips can tell

I've been a fan of this lip balm for nearly two decades. There is no comparison in my opinion. Sure, there's the argument that chapstick just dries your lips, but I live in extreme temps and wouldn't ever skip moisturizing my face, so why would my lips be any different? I've tried other brands but nothing ever compares to the OG - It goes on smoothly and just melts into my lips. It's a desert-island item for me, and I imagine I'll be using it til the day I die. (Really.)

This chapstick is a classic for a reason! I used to not like the mediciney scent of the original chapstick but now I prefer it to other overly fragranced lip balms. I keep this one on my bedside table and use it nightly. I don’t like that this one in particular doesn’t have spf (which is why I use it at night instead of keeping it in my purse for day).

One of the OV chapsticks! It actually smells like cherries and there’s no need to reapply for hoursss. This chapstick actually leaves a stain on your lips, which is what you would essentially want anyway especially during the colder months where lips can look a lot less vibrant. My lips feel moisturized almost instantaneously after about two applications on both my upper and lower lip.

The original Chapstick Cherry balm was my very first lip care product I owned and still do to this day. It is very easy to apply and it is somewhat effective as how it is supposed to be and I say that because I have to reapply quite often as my lips tend to start drying out rather quickly after using the balm. I do love the original cherry packaging and I hope that never changes.

This sounds strange, but I avoided this product for a long time. I tend to dislike most drugstore body lotions and lip balms because they contain ingredients I don't like to use. I think that lip balms in particular tend to market sealants as moisturizers. This product contains mineral oil, menthol, and parabens, which are all ingredients I prefer not to use. It also contains lanolin, which most people love but somewhat grosses me out, sorry.

HOWEVER, I got a tube as part of a bridesmaid thank-you and was shocked by how much I love it. I like the camphor/menthol scent (although I think both ingredients are irritating on the lips over time), I like the no-fuss packaging, and I like the emollient, waxy texture. I wish it tinted my lips somewhat, but it's colorless on me.

This is my go to affordable lip balm. I love the smell of the cherry balm and I feel like it's so much more moisturizing and comfortable than any of the other varieties of chapstick. I also love the slight red tint that this balm gives my lips. They look and feel so healthy. For a dollar a piece I can afford my bad habit of losing them before I finish them, too.

Chapstick’s cherry chapstick is 100% my favorite chapstick of all time. I have it with me everywhere, and usually have four or five back up tubes because they’re easy to lose. I don’t lose them often though because they’re so valuable to me lol. Great taste, great moisture, and also adds a little tint of color when the temp would otherwise make your lips pale.

Although I love the cherry flavor of Chapstick, it isn’t my go-to lip balm. I have used it many times, but I don’t go through it quickly. The product is long lasting, but I find many other brands to be better and also long lasting. The cherry flavor gives a pinkish tint to the lips, which I do not like in a lip balm. It’s also a bit too tacky for my liking.

Chapstick Cherry is my favorite chapstick. I do agree with one review that said it is addicting and not really healing, though I have never thought of it that way since I haven't found a lip product that actually does heal my lips. I enjoy the smell (even though I generally dislike everything cherry) and the product is moisturizing without feeling waxy or leaving buildup behind.
