I tried the CHANEL Hydramax+Active Active Moisture Gel Cream and found it to be a light, fresh moisturizer that sinks into my skin quickly without feeling greasy. It gave my face a soft, dewy look and felt cooling on application, which I liked for daytime use. The texture was my favorite part because it felt airy and smooth, almost like a soft gel-cream. I also noticed that a little goes a long way, so the jar should last a while. On my skin, it hydrated well, but my T-zone still got a bit oily after a few hours. I did not get breakouts from it, which made it feel gentle and easy to use. The only real downside for me was the price, because it is very expensive for a moisturizer. Still, if you want a luxury gel cream that feels light and keeps skin comfortable, I think it is a nice product.
