After sampling all of the fragrances in the Chanel Allure line, I decided on this one, the original. In my opinion it is the better blended and more versatile than homme sport and eau extreme. It is citrusy, woody, and has an elegant floral and powdery vanilla background to bind it all together. This fragrance sits close to the skin, it is not one that will fill the room. While I think this is a good thing for this particular fragrance, I do wish it was more lasting. Otherwise I think this is signature scent worthy.

Timeless classic that is fresh, spicy, with a hint of citrus that lingers. Like a morning jog through a Parisian garden. Works for day or night, but not overpowering. Just smells clean and put-together, you know? Pricey, but hey, it's Chanel.

This scent heavily reminds me of the late 90s and early 2000s as I grew up with some people around me having worn this scent. That being said, I absolutely love this and the nostalgia it brings me. It’s a nice mix of fresh, sweet and woody notes that’s blended perfectly yet doesn’t smell dated. With how often everyone tends to lean towards BDC, I feel like this is a great alternative for an all-around scent. It feels casual but also not too relaxed and can be worn for both office and casual settings. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something different than the typical blue fragrance. Not a beast of a performer, but has enough projection to last a few hours for daytime use.
