I got this installed at the end of 2025 alongside a new heat pump and air handler; it's been great so far. I can't speak to the value proposition as it was added for free with the install. The customization is extensive, offering options for schedules, away settings, and even mechanical operating thresholds. There's also a bunch of deeper advanced settings, though I haven't touched those yet. The geofencing with the app has been the most useful part for me; I leave for work and the house sets the temperature to away mode based on a set distance, which has been super handy. While I'm not entirely sure I understand everything eco+ is doing and I don't have a utility partnership to take full advantage of it, it seems like it's optimizing something. I can't fully verify that though, so I'll leave that one as a possible placebo. The maintenance reminders were a nice touch, especially when using the app. You get the alert on the thermostat, but receiving it on your phone makes it much easier to actually notice. I have no complaints. 10 out of 10.

Anyone that is a do it yourself type person can set this up easily. will walk you through step-by-step and because of their refurbished program, everything is reset so you do not have to worry about an old setting in the thermostat and it does have quite a bit of energy efficient mood, and the performance on it is a amazing no glitching. You will never have to worry about it freezing
