CeraVe Facial Cleanser
It’s okay- it works for dry sensitive skin but it doesn’t feel particularly hydrating. It’s not drying either it’s just “okay” it cleaned my skin- but it wasn’t anything remarkable. It’s very gentle and I imagine for VERY sensitive skin this would work great.CeraVe Foaming Facial and Hydrating Cleanser
Say yes to cleanser that won’t dry out your skin. As I’m getting older my skin has completely changed on me. It doesn’t hold moisture like it used to so I really have to be careful with my cleansers. This cleanser is a amazing at taking off makeup and cleansing the face without feeling dried out after.
This. Stuff. Is. Gold! I have super dry skin in the winter and I use this with my Clarisonic after I take my makeup off with a cleansing oil. It feels so smooth and hydrating and my skin feels great after using it. I also love that it’s affordable.
I have super sensitive skin, but also terrible acne. So many people I know had recommended it, but I tried it and I wasn't impressed. First it was pretty expensive. Then when I used it, it didn't feel like soap. While it was very gentle one my skin, it left my face feeling like it had a thin layer of conditioner on it that I just couldn't wash off. Then, it made my breakouts worse! I had to find a face wash that dried out my skin, just to undo the damage.
I just recently purchased this at my local target hoping to find a less expansive cleanser. I read many good reviews but unfortunately do not feel the same. As soon as I started using it, my skin freaked out (I thought it might just be because I switched product so I gave it two weeks for my skin to get used to it), and it never got better. In fact, the breakouts got worse. Immediately after I stopped using this product, my skin began to clear up.
I use this product to cleanse with my clairsonic. The product cleanses my face gently and doesn't leave me dry or oily afterwards. All in all, very effective. The bottle is large and I like that I can find it in my local walmart/walgreens. I intend on re-buying when I run out and branching out into one of their cleansers that are free of salicylic acid as I provide acids in other parts of my routine.
This cleanser is good for just cleansing your face without any makeup on. I definitely recommend removing your makeup beforehand with a makeup remover product because this will not wash away the heavy products. I have hypersensitive and acne prone skin but this product is very gentle and did not agitate my skin after multiple uses nor did it dry it out.
I began using a gentle cleanser after my dermatologist recommended either CeraVe or Cetaphil. I don't like Cetaphil because it doesn't remove my makeup, but CeraVe for normal to oily skin, removes all of my makeup! It is at a great price point and gets the job done! Would highly recommend. Although, I do believe the manufacturer should remove parabens.
