I've recently been on the Celebration Cruise Line on a 2 Day trip to the Bahamas. It was the first time I've been on this short of a cruise so I wasn't sure if I would feel like I was having the true "Cruise Experience" that I'm accustomed to on longer cruises. I would have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. It was very nice get-away!! It was also very inexpensive in comparison to other ships. The ship was a bit older, but our state room had an ocean view and comfy bed. The shows were great and I also enjoyed the food. It wasn't quite as fancy as other ships, but they had a good selection to choose from. A couple of drawbacks were that you can't bring a bottle of wine on the ship, like so many cruises now a days, and there weren't as many all night food options. The Bahamas was beautiful, and we were able to try a lot of local foods. The beach is very close to where the ship ports..another plus! We also used the option to have immenities access to the local resort. Grand Lucaya, which was great as well. You also have the option to stay overnight on the island if you like, which I may choose to do at another date. All in all I would say this is a great quick getaway, if you don't have time to take a longer cruise, but you want a lil vakay!! I will definitely travel with them again.
