This surprisingly works very well. After 24 hours it soaks in and you just have to comb your pet daily to insure there's no pests!

I've just started using this product, but I have to comment on another reviewer. I had to look up the ingredient and the ingredient IS safe for cats! It is the synthetic version that isn't. I was terrified i poisoned my baby, but thank God i looked it up. This is for other people who might see that review! It is safe for your kitten! Cardinal Gold Medal Pets Ear Mite and Tick Control

My son has a Husky he doesn't have ticks but wouldn't be a bad idea to use this product just in case that he may come in contact with them
