Seriously should have a minimum age on these things! What is the youngest child you give them to?

Ideally children should almost never have these, but that aside, I would say 6 or so as the straw is very small and I fear a little one falling with the straw in their mouth.

I have given these to my children at one with one of the drink holding containers around it so that they cant squeeze it all over and they are in the high chair when drinking it so they don't ram the straw down their throat.

Nothing under age 5 is my advice while they be able to drink from it younger its a safer bet to wait untill motor skills are more developed

I'd say 3-4. I've poked a hole in the top and poured out the liquid into a sippy cup -- I think the main challenge/deterrent would be the use of straw
