So disappointed in the size of the slices! They fit into the palm of my hand…and I’m not very big. A slice of American cheese is larger than a slice of this bread. My son looked at it and asked it it was bite size…I said yea it is!! Absolutely ridiculous that they sell this as a poor replacement for a loaf of bread. Just because we have to eat gluten free doesn’t mean we do t want regular sized bread. I paid $8.00 for this loaf (only because I was completely out of bread). What a rip off! The bread tastes good, makes a good sandwich, but you need half a loaf to make a regular sized sandwich. The loaf is sealed inside a bag, with the other bag around it, so it is typically fresh. I keep mine frozen and thaw as needed. I would not add this to my shopping list regularly.

I buy Canyon Bakehouse Gluten Free Sandwich Bread exclusively. It’s the perfect texture, soft and will hold up to a sandwich without falling apart, and has no aftertaste. It’s also corn-free, which is a huge bonus for me. My favorite way to use it is toasted for grilled cheese. I also like to chop it up and make croutons. Add seasonings to the bread cubes for salads, or leave them plain and use to make stuffing!

As someone with celiac and has to avoid dairy while breastfeeding, this is the perfect bread! When toasted on the pan it gives the perfect soft crunch. I personally don’t like eating it without toasting it. The first time I had this it was so good I thought i mixed up the bread it was so good. This is the only gluten free bread that I like. The bread is doubled packaged which makes it taste like it’s straight out of the bakery!
