Das Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 ist ein absolutes Standardwerkzeug in meiner Tasche. Die Preis-Leistung ist top, man bekommt viel Glas für sein Geld. Die Funktionalität ist simpel, aber effektiv. Der Autofokus (USM) ist schnell, aber manchmal etwas unpräzise im Vergleich zu modernen Linsen. Rauschunterdrückung findet hier nicht im Objektiv statt, aber die große Blende (f/1.4) hilft, bei wenig Licht zu fotografieren und das Rauschen in der Kamera zu minimieren. Der Akku der Kamera wird durch dieses Objektiv nicht übermäßig belastet, da es keinen Bildstabilisator hat.
