I've heard the hype over this and to be honest, there's not much to hype about. It's not extraordinary or anything - it's a solid purchase, reliable, trustworthy and easy to use. It's a little on the pricier side but I would recommend this to first time camera users since you can't really go wrong with this product. It can take some really great scenery shots so that's a plus :)

This is my favorite camera!

I absolutely love Canon as a brand, and I was so excited to start using this camera. I use this camera for my photography business, as well as for my YouTube business. The extra lens is also great for close up shots.

If you want a camera that is semi-affordable for the impeccable quality, then this is your camera. It takes great photographs as well as video. Its also not too difficult to use, I learned how to use it within a day of playing with it. If your a photographer looking for a new camera, this is the one.

My Christmas present, I'm in love. This is my first cannon but not my first camera, I'm used to Nikon. Simple to use but also a great camera for someone starting out. The 18-15mm lense is not the best, it makes a rubbing or scratchy sound when you focus When is a problem when shooting video. The 75-300 mm is a lot quieter.
