We’ve been using this for my dachshund for many years. It’s a prescription diet that we need to order through Chewy with vet approval. It’s on the expensive side but since it helps prevent his kidney issues from returning and running up those costly vet bills, it’s worth it in the long run. He likes the taste and gobbles it up. We use the lower calorie version because it can cause weight gain. It’s also safe for my other dachshund to eat even though she doesn’t need the prescription diet. I am satisfied with Royal Canin brand and when we added two cats to our home, we stuck with the brand for them as well. Even though we could have used a cheaper cat food, we chose to use Royal Canin cat food for them.

my dog had a bladder stone. Our veterinary suggested Royal Canin Urinary SO food for treatment with herbal medicine. After six months, we escaped from surgery and at present, all is clean. I really recommend this effective food.
