The 4-quart stockpot is dishwasher safe, but hand washing helps protect the cookware's finish. Allow the Calphalon stainless steel soup pot to cool completely before washing. Never immerse a hot pan in cold water, as this may cause warping. To wash by hand, simply clean with a liquid dishwashing detergent and a nonabrasive sponge or soft bristle brush. Maintain the finish with Bar Keeper's Friend cleanser and a nonabrasive sponge.
