This was my son's very first tablet. He was four years old when he got it for Christmas. He is now almost 8 years old and is now an owner of an adult tablet. This is one of the best tablets to start your kids out on. I would definitely buy this brand again. My son still plays on this tablet as well as his other tablet, Nabi dreamtab, and his Samsung tablet that cost almost $300. His father and I have noticed that he is more responsible with tablets than any other child older than him and younger than him. But if you ever want to try a tablet out with your child and you aren't sure which one to go with, start with this one first and then go up from there
