I have been cloth diapering for three years now, and I have tried just about every major brand (Rumparooz, Fuzzibunz, Tots Bots, GroVia, Thirsties...) and every kind (pocket, prefold, fitted, All-in-Two, All-in-One), and the bumGenius Freetime is by far my favorite diaper of them all. It's easy to use, easy to wash, and does not require any stuffing! It even works as a nighttime diaper with the addition of a hemp insert or two. I highly recommend it to beginners and veterans alike.
Bumgenius is another cloth diaper that I received as a shower gift. It stays near the bottom of my stash, and I only pull it out when my regular cloth diapers are in the wash. I find it does fit better than the other one-size diapers that I have, and the absorbancy is pretty good, as well as the trimness. One of my least favorite aspects of the BumGenius diaper is the fact that it doesn't have very good leg gussets to contain messes, unlike my main brand of diaper.
I have a few of these in our cloth diaper stash for our little man and the fit is great! We use the 4.0's that come with a newborn insert and a regular size insert. My little man is a heavy wetter however, and we need to add a hemp or bamboo booster in there to hold in all the pee so we get no leaks. But all in all great diapers :)
My daughter is 11 weeks and we have been using these diapers since she was just 3 weeks. I haven't had any issues. I did find that the leg holes are a little big for her. But overall I am pleased with these diapers. The inserts are a little on the thin side which could be a pro or a con depending on your preferences. They are trim yet not as absorbent as some other brands. However if you change your child often like I do, then it isn't an issue
This diaper works great and is easy to use. I dreamt of owning an Albert for a long time before a friend finally got me one. Which brings me to why I gave it a "B"...the price. A little costly and I hope that as the company grows and sells more they can bring their price point down a bit without sacrificing the quality.
I heard awesome things about BumGenius so I have bought a few. They do have awesome prints on their diapers. However, I'm not a fan of the fit on my chunk(ier) baby. It seems like less adjustment for around the legs and waist.
BumGenius are great diapers, which are comfortable for babies and affordable for parents. We have been using these diapers for over two years now and have been very impressed. The organic cotton diapers we have had held up very well, minimal staining and wear even though we have washed and used them a lot!
I attempted to cloth diaper my son when he was little but once he ended up with a yeast infection I felt that I couldn't get it out of my cloth diapers and then it became chronic. I will try again if I decide to have more children but because my son had such sensitive skin also they didn't work for us.
These are my most favorite diapers ever! I had so many of these when I used to cloth diaper my now 2 year old! They are comfortable *I assume* since he never got any lines on his skin, fit snug and perfect. Are they pricey? a bit but you get what you pay for and that is AWESOMENESS! I highly recommend
Not my favorite brand of cloth diaper but they work for a lot of people. My boys are heavy wetters so when I did try bumGenius I did find it difficult to diaper my boys without using 2 inserts which was extremely bulky - and I don't like microfiber, so I switched to a Canadian made brand which is amazing and I use bamboo inserts
