What is the best thing about these diapers that you would tell someone who does not use cloth diapers?

These diapers have not given me any leaks for my daughter who is two years old now and has been using them since birth! We have a few different brands of cloth diapers and Bumgenius are by far the most hardy and have stood the test of time. The hardest part is learning how to wash them, but once you get into a routine and what works best for you, its really easy. I like to use natural detergents and sometimes a little bit of bleach depending on the amount of poop left on, and I always wash them in hot water. make sure to wash them a few times too so they are sanitized.

Save money, cute, and it is really not much more effort than it takes to use disposable diapers.

My son cannot take them off. I use the snap ones, and he takes his pants off all the time, but he can never get these off. I hear a lot of horror stories from parents who use disposables about their toddlers taking off diapers and getting poop everywhere!

"What blowouts??". Seriously. The amount of gross mess that you DON'T have to deal with all over clothes, bedding, etc, is worth the mess you deal with in the diaper!! With the right fit, we have never had a leak or blowout in 2 years. Only have had some due to user error, not snapping it on right (which, when tired, occasionally could happen).

These diapers are great quality, and can be so simple to start using for those who are only accustom to disposable, you can get versions that require little to no extra steps. Just put it on the same way you would a disposie, aplix {"velcro"} is easiest. They have great resale value if kept in good condition, and they're easy to clean and I have found do not stain easily.
