I've heard so much about cloth diapering, I think it's neat but then again I hear people say it's a lot of work with them . How do they actually work?!

Truthfully, it IS more work than just using disposables, but it is also not as much work as you might think. Yes, you have to wash your dirty diapers (including rinsing out poopy diapers if the child you're diapering is anything but exclusively breast-fed), take the time to line-dry the covers so as not to wear them out, then, depending on what sort of diapers/inserts you are using, you may need to stuff the inserts into the diapers, possibly after folding the insert first. So yes, it is more work, but you get the bonus of being able to use them over and over and over again, even for successive children, which will save you money in the long run, even once you factor in the cost of laundering them. More added bonuses: when it's hot out, you can just pair it with a T-shirt and call it an outfit haha. They look super cute on your child (and there are SO many different brands with so many different cute colours and prints). Also, they look so nice hanging out to dry on the clothesline - I love sunny, diaper-drying days!

It's really not much work at all! The most common types of cloth diapers are all-in-ones and pockets. All-in-ones are super easy to use---you just put them on your baby! Pockets have a wicking layer and are stuffed with an absorbent insert. You store dirty diapers in a pail and then just toss in the wash every 2 or 3 days :).
