I'm officially one of THOSE moms. I was extremely skeptical of cloth diapering. There may have been some pregnancy nightmares about safety pins. These diapers have put my anxieties to rest. I wanted something that would be economical and great for the environment. Also something that fit my lifestyle. I'm more of a Bergdorf hippie. The snap enclosures and quality elastic makes these the best on the market. We haven't had a blow out and they're surprisingly easy to clean. My go to advice for expecting parents is to consider cloth diapering. I highly recommend using the bum genius brand.
I absolutely love my BG pockets. I have 4.0s and 5.0s in both hook and loop, and snaps. While I love Velcro on some brands, BG soars to the top with their snap pockets. Great colors and patterns. Slim, trim pocket that easily fits a large flat without becoming bulky. Fits my chunky-thighed-yet-skinny-waisted nine-month-old like a charm! Highly recommended!
I am a bum genius die hard fan. I cloth diaper my twin boys, and own about 75 bum genius. They are affordable, they are adorable, and I've had zero issues. I have saved about $3500 so far cloth diapering my 19 month old boys. They are super absorbent, and the prints are fantastic. The only con, it's easy to become obsessed!
I am a fan! I was skeptical and didn't cloth diaper with #1, but I was given some as hand me downs for #2. We only use cloth on nights and weekends, but I'm hooked. So so so easy to clean and easy to use. Having some issues right now with nighttime fit but we are between sizes and I hope to see improvement!
We use several brands of cloth diapers but this brand is the one we use the most. Mostly we use Freetimes, though on occasion we use pockets or even the Flips. If you are interested in trying cloth diapers I highly suggest trying these out. They work great and have cute colors and prints.
I used the bumgenius with my son for first year and a half. They're more expensive than some of the other cloth diapers out there but I got a good deal. I prefer the snaps to the Velcro since they were more secure in my son and Velcro sticks to other diapers causing pilling
These are my absolute favorite diapers. We're on baby #2 and they're still going strong. If you're looking to take the leap, start here. I know the price per diaper is a big up front cost but I promise they're worth it. I had big babies and these fit from birth.
I got my son a few bum geniuses when we were starting out. This diaper was very effective and never made my son leak. I got them for a small kids store in my area and they were an ok price. I plan on buying more again soon.
Not many cloth diapers can compare to the quality and cute factor of bumgenius! They're sturdy, well made and though higher than some brands, well worth the price! I would definitely buy them time and time again!
This is my favorite brand of cloth. They are more expensive bit worth it. The ones I have with velcro have worn out fast so I would never buy the velcro again bit the snaps ones are great!
