I purchased this cleanser for my husband at Target. The price was reasonable, the ingredient list seemed gentle and the reviews were mixed. My husband suffers from dry, psoriasis skin and I look for products that will not worsen his condition. First of all, the packaging was simple. I appreciated the product was made from recycled plastic and waste. I also saw it contained aloe vera, green tea and camelina oil, which are supposed to leave skin clean, non-greasy and be gentle on the skin. After a few tries, my husband said the smell was a combination of masculinity and a strong herbal scent. It is way too strong and the smell lingers for a long time. I can smell it long after he has used the product. It hurts my head a bit as well as his. Although the wash left his skin refreshed and clean, it did dry out his skin a bit. I support the brand and the fact it’s also cruelty-free, but I don’t think it’s a good match for my husband’s skin. I’m not sure I would repurchase.
