I haven’t sewn anything in years, so I was very intimidated to start with this sewing machine. I found it easy to use the LED screen is awesome and lots of built in designs. It’s fairly quiet which is nice. The built-in needle threader is super great as well. I’m excited to keep using this and really explore the embroidery tool as well!

I was so excited to receive this sewing & embroidery machine in exchange for my honest opinion! As soon as it arrived I was able to set it up very quickly - the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I’ve used Brother sewing machines before and other than a few newer (for me) functions I was sewing within a few minutes. Using the machine for embroidery was brand new for me, so I had to read through the instructions to make sure I was doing it correctly. The designs loaded onto the machine are cute and great to practice with. I’m excited to continue using the machine and maybe even try to design my own images to embroider. The Star Wars plates and designs for the machine are great too! Overall I’m really happy with this machine and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beginner embroidery machine that also has sewing functions.

I was so excited to try this machine and make all of my sewing dreams come true. But this is not the most beginner friendly machine. It took two days of multiple attempts and frustration just to thread the machine. The directions are hard to follow so using this machine has been difficult. Maybe with some practice I will feel differently but so far I’m not a fan.
