I love my Brita filter! I live in a city where the tap water isn't delicious, but I grew up in a city that prided ourselves on how amazing our tap water was (weird, I know, but trust me - it was amazing). After moving, I really missed good quality tap water. I've found that with the Brita filter, I'm getting that nice, crisp tap water again. It's easier for me to actually drink water when it's super cold and actually tastes good. I've been a believer for a few years!
This product is good if you are on a budget and want to save on plastic bottles. Other than that, I don't recommend this brand. The pitcher I bought was badly designed. There is nothing to lock the filter in place, so when you pour the water the filter usually comes out. The actual filter doesn't filter properly, leaving black specs and other stuff in the water. Compared to other pitcher filters the water taste isn't great. I bought a different brand and broke this one to use as a mixing pitcher.

Purchased this from my local Walmart on sale as I was tired of buying bottle water. Love that the system is easy to use and filters easy to replace. Can’t understand why everyone doesn’t use this. Buying one of these saves me so much on bottled water as I have a couple of Swell Mumbai 17-oz. Reusable Bottles to hold water in for at least 24 hours while I’m out and about. Very effective and water tastes better than bottled water. Definitely recommend!
This is a really nice water filter for apartments and dorm life. It’s a great small size that fits easily in the fridge and fills up pretty fast. It’s a little difficult to clean and the parts aren’t the best quality is it’s a great starter pitcher. The little flap fell off on Mine when I was moving in and out of dorms and the lid doesn’t secure the best but other than that it’s great!

This is a lifesaver for college students that are living in a traditional dorm! If you have access to a sink, just fill up the water and you are good to go. It is easy to fill up the water and to pour into other bottles. Great for the environment too! I totally recommend trying this out if you are in college or if you want to make our environment a better place!

I love to have this product on hand as we live in a rural area now and I do not like to drink from the tap. We usually buy filtered water in jugs and whenever we don't drink all of what's left, I refilter the water by pouring it into this Brita filter. I then reuse the filtered water for my coffee, pets, plants or for boiling noodles.
I’m living in Los Angeles and I don’t like the taste of the water here! My Brita water system has saved me tons of money on unnecessary bottled water and is great for the environment

How often does one change the filter?
How soon does the filter need to be replaced? Is it expensive? Is it at local stores or you have to search around for it? (filter)
I neeeed this, but does it do its job without breaking?
