This stuff has been a serious #gamechanger product for me it literally disintegrates your makeup and not only that the charcoal really helps you out any impurities in your pores and gives you a fresh canvas. I love boscia products they are some of the best I have ever used in all of my life! They are perfect for anyone and any skin type including extremely sensitive the brand was actually invented by a husband who made it because his wife skin was so sensitive she could not use anything so he created this line specifically for her sensitivities
I am assuming that maybe I got a bad jar, maybe. I will try it more and see if it works better. If it does I will change this. However, so far it has just not impressed me at all. I used this and ended up getting my Velocity Face Cleaner to get my makeup off and face clean. This product failed in both of those areas and I didn't see any benefits to my skin either. I really wanted this to work because I have dry skin so I really like anything that has oils in it.
I got a sample of this from sephora. I have oily skin so a oil balm didn't appeal to me but it was a nice cleanser. It took off my makeup effortlessly and cleaned out my pores in the process. Basically took the day off lol Since it was only a sample I didnt get alot of play with this product but for the few days of testing it out it didnt break me out
I love Boscia there products are amazing and this cleansing oil ball is no exception. It smells good and really gets rid of my makeup without irritating my skin. I like how I do not have to scrub crazy hard to remove my makeup if I use this. I gave this product four out of five stars because I wish it wasn't quite so pricey.
I have used another boscia charcoal based product besides this one and I love both.. great for your deep cleansing your pores and getting all that makeup, sweat and the day out of your skin!!! A great buy a bit pricey .. start with a sample from Sephora
I loooove boscia products! They always leave my skin feeling so clean. I actually love the smell of this, I think it works pretty well. I picked this up at sephora. I think it was a little too expensive but worth it
I can not live with out this... It's amazing it literally removes makeup and all that dirt off the face and it doesn't dry my face out so that's a plus for me..
Such an Amazing product. Leaves you feeling so refreshed and clean. I have sensitive acne prone skin and it was great for my skin
I got this as a 100 point perk in one of my recent Sephora purchases. This is the first thing I've ever had from Boscia, but I'm pretty impressed. It's described as a "cleansing oil balm". I would agree with that. When you scoop it out of the jar it's thick, but it does have that oil slip to it. From my look through the ingredients it seems to be a combination of Sunflower seed oil, Sweet Scented Geranium Oil (that was not actually listed in the ingredients with that name, I had to google that one!), and shea butter. Once you scoop it out of the jar, you basically just rub it all over your face. I've found this does a pretty good job of removing most of my face makeup. It struggles a little bit with my mascara though, and I've tried it with several different mascaras. After that, you rinse with warm water. It's supposed to emulsify into a milky type cleanser. I didn't really find that to be the case, but honestly that didn't really bother me. So overall I think this product does a pretty good job of removing my makeup. The sample size I received is 15g, and a full size is 85g for $32. I can't say that'd I go out and purchase this because I feel like I have other more inexpensive products that do just about the same thing. That said, the charcoal is a lovely addition and the product does it's job. I just can't justify $32 for something like this at this point in my life.
