I got a small sample of this from ulta and it’s honestly not bad, there is a very slight smell and it’s kind of off putting but it goes away quickly. It absorbs into your skin quickly and has a nice cooling gel consistency. It hydrates okay with my dry skin, may help oily skin more though honestly.

This is a lightweight, gel formula for a moisturizer. It's very hydrating and effective. No strong odor. It does leave a slight gel texture behind, but if applying other skincare or makeup after it disappears.

This moisturizer is great because it doesn’t leave your skin looking dewy afterward! It has a cooling effect when applied and helps your skin feel soft and nourished. However, I found that it kind of burned for a minute or so when I applied around my eye area. It also oddly started peeling after a while, too. Otherwise a good product (and is vegan, too)!

I'd give this 3 and 1/2 stars. This used to be the clean brand at Sephora like 10 years ago everyone loved but I was never really impressed by it. It's not at Sephora anymore, I know it's moving towards putting select products in select Walgreens, so that could be it. I got a deluxe sample of this product in a dermstore kit and based on my past experience wasn't expecting much, but I liked this. It's a green gel, I agree with the person who says it reminds them of aloe, and doesn't really have any smell that I've noticed. Like most gel moisturizers I've used, this is sticky but I've found ways to limit that. This layers better over liquid serums than ones that have a more lotion texture. I also rub it between my fingers first, don't use to much, and blot it with a tissue after. It doesn't fully absorb, but I use it as a night cream for my combo skin and that's what I like about it. It provides a good amount of moisture without causing oil/breakouts and I feel like it seals my nightly serums (I rotate a retinol with an AHA.) I had pilling last night, though I haven't before so I wonder now if it's how I layered my serums or I used to much. You can't use too much and even though it says it can be used during the day/under makeup, the stickiness makes me feel it's better as just a pm moisturizer. As someone with combination skin I feel like the Goldilocks of moisturizer, always looking for a little more or a little less. Before this I used Neutrogena® Hydro Boost Water Gel with Hyaluronic Acid for Dry Skin , though it's more for combo skin imo. It's not sticky because it absorbs all the way, but sometimes I find the outermost layer of my skin feeling dry after a few hours. While the Neutrogena is $25 for 1.7oz when I can't find a sale, this is $38 for 1.61oz or I found $50 for 3.4oz at dermstore. This was on sale for $19 at Ulta so I purchased it. I wouldn't purchase at full price though but if a sale occurs next summer when my skin is oily/combo I'd probably consider purchasing again.

Super lightweight gel moisturizer. It has a watery texture but it absorbs pretty quickly. Smells so good and the jar is huge and lasts forever. Might not be moisturizing enough for winter but it’s a great summer day time moisturizer

With a name like “cactus water” I was expecting a more liquid formula. Instead, this moisturizer feels a bit oily. In fact my skin felt tacky to the touch for a while after application. I think this is more suitable for people with dry skin or maybe combination. I’m not fully convinced.boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer 1.6 oz. #skincare #moisturizer #boscia @boscia #influenster

I think this product is very lightweight and very moisturizing it is perfect for using at night time because it gives it more time for it to soak in while you sleep. For the size of it it is a really good value. I would purchase this product again. I also recommend this product

This is the first true moisturizer I have ever tried, and if I didn’t get it for free in a Vox Box I’m not sure this would have been my first choice due to the price. However, I’m seriously impressed with this. I have normal-oily skin depending on the weather, what I’ve recently eaten, etc. so I typically skip moisturizer because I don’t want too much moisture which would cause me to breakout. To start off with, the packaging is super simple and sleek so I have no problem leaving it hanging around on my bathroom counter. The very first time I used it I used the included spatula to get a scoop about the size of a dime and this is when I discovered that a little goes a very, very long way. I now use 1/4-1/2 this amount and can cover my whole face easily. This goes without saying, but because it’s very important I’ll say it anyways...$38.00 may seem like a lot to spend on moisturizer for those that don’t necessarily see a need for it, but I can see this one tub lasting me ~3 months so when you do the math that’s not a bad price st all! As far as how well it works...I would say exceedingly well! When I first put it on there’s a nice cooling and calming sensation that’s very relaxing especially with it being summer. Although the directions say you can use at night and/or morning, I put it on right before I go to bed. It takes just seconds to fully absorb and you can’t even tell you put anything on! After my first night of using it I felt a noticeable difference in my face (and I was struggling with dry lips as a result of some other face products that I use to control acne and the next morning they felt MUCH better). Overall I would highly recommend trying this, but I do want to make note of the fact that I have no other moisturizers to compare this to*. boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer 1.6 oz.

It definitely dries down with the texture of a primer, but I haven’t tried applying as a primer. Bet it would work!

Like you, I have combination skin and have been using the Boscia cactus water moisturizer for over a year and absolutely love it! A little goes a long way. It definitely keeps my skin moisturized and I don't feel oily or sticky after using it. Hope this helps!
