I recently tried the Bolero Coconut + Rose Milk Facial Mist and wanted to share my experience. As someone who’s always on the lookout for refreshing skincare products, I was intrigued by the combination of coconut and rose. The packaging is quite appealing—simple yet elegant, which makes it look lovely on my vanity.
On the positive side, the mist provides a delightful, gentle spray that feels refreshing and hydrating on the skin. The fragrance is a prominent feature; the scent of coconut is sweet and tropical, while the rose adds a touch of floral elegance. It certainly provides a nice sensory experience during application, making it feel luxurious for a budget product.
However, there are some drawbacks. While the initial hydration is nice, I found that it didn't last as long as I had hoped. After a short while, my skin felt a bit dry again, which was disappointing. Additionally, I discovered that it can feel slightly sticky upon application, and it requires a little time to fully absorb into the skin.
Another point to note is that if you have sensitive skin, you might want to test it first. While I didn't experience any negative reactions, the combination of fragrances may not sit well with everyone.
In conclusion, the Bolero Coconut + Rose Milk Facial Mist is a decent product for its price point, offering a refreshing experience with a pleasant scent. However, it may not provide long-lasting hydration or work well for all skin types. I think it’s a nice pick-me-up for hot days or to refresh your makeup, but don’t expect it to replace your regular skincare routine. Would I repurchase? Maybe, but I’d likely explore other options before making that decision.
I picked this up at Dollar Tree. I use it to wet my sponge before applying foundation, it works really well and helps my foundation look seamless.
It is scented, smells like coconut cream pie.
Pros:
▪️great for moistening sponges prior to applying cream or liquid foundation
▪️can use to freshen up your face during the day
Cons:
▪️heavy fragrance
▪️the coconut oil and rosehip oil are the very last ingredients, below the preservative even, so probably no real benefit from them.
I would recommend if you need a budget friendly face mist
