I have used this wrap since my son was a newborn, and we both love it! It's comfortable, very breathable, but it also keeps him nice and warm while he's snuggled up in it! Shopping trips are a breeze with this, especially when it's only me and little man. I don't have to worry about dangerously balancing his car seat in the cart, or where I'm going to fit groceries in his stroller. I just wrap, stick him in, and shop!
I loved my Boba. My finance even carried out daughter in it. It may look difficult to wrap, but the instructions did a great job at showing how to wrap it effectively. It's much more comfortable that any baby carrier I've ever tried, and I feel as though it's more comfortable for baby as well. It's also super easy to clean, just throw it in the washing machine! The only difficult aspect of it, is that it is time consuming to wrap, which can get frustrating while out in public. It also isn't as comfortable for older babies, such as nine months and up. It almost feels unsafe to have a squirming, moving baby carried in it. Other than that, I think it's an awesome product that new mommies should give a try!
I have the lilac purple color. This is the one item when I was pregnant I REALLY REALLY wanted so when I got it I was SO happy and excited. I opened it and was instantly confused. I had to do a lot of research and trial and error to know how to tie it properly. But once I got the hang of it it was pretty easy. After I had my baby I used it as much as I could but my baby got heavy really fast and it didn't offer a lot of support since I was still struggling with back pain. I do plan on keeping it to use if I were to have another baby. I would recommend but would strongly suggest to do your research and practice before baby comes.
This is a really great product I got one as a baby shower gift and have been using it since! The fabric is soft and comfortable and my baby loves it. The boba wrap would make my baby feel secure, safe, and close as a newborn when he would fuss he would find comfort in it and fall asleep right away, and now at 6 months he still uses it but instead of facing me I put him in facing the other way. This is also a huge help while cleaning up or while at the grocery store since you have both hands free. This has honestly been a life saver and a baby must have.
I bought two different carriers before the Boba wrap. I was hesitant to buy the wrap because I thought tying it would be confusing, but after watching a few short YouTube videos I gave it a try. It was very simple. My daughter is currently 10 pounds and we alternate between two different holds. I will be interested to see how she likes it as she grows. Honestly, the Boba wrap is the only way I am able to keep my job right now because my baby loves to be held and I can be on the computer and wear her at the same time unlike bulkier carriers.
I. LOVE. BOBA. WRAPS. these things are amazing. my son was a very difficult baby, this thing was the only way he would sleep. It saved my sanity. they can be a bit expensive, but they last for years. so it's really a one time fee, that you can use for years and years. if you are interested in a wrap, I'd get this. I love mine, and so do my babies.
I used this as a test to see if I wanted to transition to woven wraps. I was a little intimidated byh the length of the fabric initially and had to watch a few YouTube videos to get the hang of wrapping, but once I did it was love. It can be pretied before the house for easy ups when you get to your destination. My baby is 16lbs and I still feel like It's really supportive as it was when he was lighter as long as It's tied correctly. It's also washable which is a huge plus!
I love my Boba Wrap more than any item on this planet! Especially when my daughter was an infant!! She was spoiled to death with being held, so this made everything so much better! All I had to do was wrap her up around me and then BAM! I was a hands free momma while holding my baby at the same time! I was able to eat, get house work done, etc.... Its also very affordable and isn't harsh on the back. It's comfortable for both mom and baby. Love this Boba!!
I returned this wrap after registering for it and receiving it as a gift. It was too much wrapping to do in order to get my baby in there secure, I exchanged it and paid the difference for a Tula carrier and I am so glad I did. The Tula is so much easier to use and maneuver when trying to get your baby in and out of the car and into the grocery. I liked the idea of the Boba but it wasn't for me.
At first I was intimidated by this wrap. It looks just like a long piece of fabric. After reading the instructions, I was surprised at how quickly I picked up on it. The next time I could put it on from memory. It's much easier to get your baby in by yourself than something like a baby bjorn. My daughter usually falls asleep in it after I walk around for a few minutes!
