59 people was diagnosed with listeria from meat that they ate from boar's Head. Virginia plant was closed due to listeria and fatty matter with bugs in the plant. All this meat is highly processed meats and sliced with machines with people who do not take the care and manner to clean the equipment and clean the plant the way it needs to be. Most likely have people working who are migrant workers who do not clean and bathe daily. I will no longer eat boar's Head meats due to the fact that they operate an unclean plant in Virginia that is now closed due to this issue.

Boar’s head ham is one of my favorite foods ever! Sounds crazy but I love this ham so much, and only boars head will do. The best flavor and texture, not slimy at all. Always get it when it’s on sale!

This is the one and only ham I ever purchase, any other ham it’s not as enjoyable. Recommend it if this is what you’re looking for.
