Blue Moon Summer Honey Wheat
Review for: BLUE MOON 22 OZ BOTTLE more...
So this 220z bottle is great if I'm in the mood for like one to two beers randomly and I don't want to buy a whole six pack. I love the Belgian wheat it has a great light flavor and not too hoppy. I also love the label. It obviously tastes a little better in a normal size bottle for some reason but i love this blue moon!
I love blue moon. The taste is consistently good, even with all of the many seasonal flavors they offer. Its not super expensive and its easy to find in every super market. I think my favorite thing about this beer is that you never know what they are going to offer. Their sample packs are always interesting and fun to try. What can I say, I'm a big fan!
I received a 12 pack of this as a thank you from a client. I think the regular Blue Moon beer is fine, not my favorite, but drinkable. I live in Colorado so the number of craft beers we have here is pretty substantial. While I prefer the craft brews, I'm not too snobby to enjoy a good national brand. The Blue Moon Honey Wheat is just not good. The flavor isn't there and it has an almost funky taste.
One of my favorite seasonal beers! You. I love this for the summertime and I absolutely love the Blue Moon line. I bought mine at the local liquor store. Smaller businesses might not carry it. I am overall satisfied with the taste. It is smooth and not too hoppy. Light and refreshing!
Review for: Blue Moon Seasonal Collection Spring Blonde Wheat Ale Bottles 12 oz, more...
Blue Moon Seasonal Collection Summer Honey Wheat can be found at most liquor stores in the summer months. It is similar to other summer wheat type flavored seasons beers. Price is comparable to other blue moon flavors. Flavor is great, but I found it hard to drink more then one.
Blue Moon is a great go-to beer. It can be best enjoyed with an orange. The original one is probably my favorite, but this one is a close second. It's a little sweeter, but not too bad. It's definitely on the lighter side of beers. Perfect for summer, when you're relaxing in the sun.
I've only had this during the summer seasons in New York City. I rarely see it during the winter so I'm assuming this is a seasonal beer. It's super light. Not too much carbonation which is awesome. Most beers are highly carbonated which leads to gas and who needs that. It's sweet and you can totally taste the honey but not in an overpowering kind of way. It's one of my favorites.
The Blue Moon Summer Honey Wheat is my ALL TIME FAVORITE Blue Moon variety! (The pumpkin being a close second) It is light and refreshing without too much of a hoppy beer flavor. As for pricing you really can't beat Blue Moon for the craft/micro brewery range of beers. I highly recommend this variety or a sampler pack for anyone branching away from the "big league breweries"
Pours a very clear deep gold with a white head that dissipates quickly. Smells of wheat, honey, and some floral notes. Tastes of wheat and bread with a very sweet honey after taste. Very light and crisp in body with medium-high carbonation. Overall it's not a bad beer for blue moon. Very refreshing just nothing above average.
Loveeee this version of Blue Moon. It's even better if you can find it in draft and have made it my go to beer in the summer. It's truly refreshing and leaves your thirst quenched in the middle of summer. Try it if you haven't already. You will not be disappointed.
