It comes with extra filter and they are washable  it has a retractable cord and has automatic adjustment to low like carpet and high carpet and hardwood floors  It even has a light to see under beds and cabinets, too  it lays down flat to get all the way under beds and dressers.  It’s an amazing vacuum  it’s a little cumbersome and the canister part does get hung up on stuff so you have to go around chairs sometimes  I love it  I would never thought I would love a vacuum cleaner so much  It even extends up really high to get ceiling corners and cobwebs.  It may seem expensive at just over $300 but I guarantee you, it’s better than the Dyson animal vacuum
