The Lotion P50V is one of my favorite products from Biologique Recherche. At first, I didn’t believe all the hype regarding this product. However, this “miracle water” literally saved my skin a few years ago, as I had so many issues, such as acne, closed comedons, large pores, etc. After religiously using the P50V in combination with a couple more products, the difference in my skin is like night and day. Personally, I do not like to waste product (especially something that pricey) and use my hands to apply it to my skin, instead of putting it on cotton pads first. Also, make sure you gently tap/press the product into your skin, instead of wiping it all over - as it may irritate your skin (it is an exfoliant after all). I use P50V morning and evening after cleansing my skin; followed by a serum and a cream. I will try to post my whole skin routine soon, that includes other BR products. :) There are 4 types of Lotion P50: the original P50 (aka the strongest formula), P50V (for slightly sensitive skin), P50W (lighter formula, for very sensitive skin), and P50 PIGM 400 (for skin with pigmentation issues). BR products are very serious and they really do work (guess that justifies the price hehe). Therefore, please make sure you first consult with a good esthetician who will give you a custom regimen that will suit your skin’s needs. :)

This review is for P50V 1970. I am obsessed with Biologique and find the brand not only fascinating, but to have greater efficacy than anything I’ve ever tried. That said, P50v 1970 is my favorite p50 so far (I’ve tried p50, p50 Pigm 400 and p50w). This one seems most suitable for my skin as it keeps my breakouts at bay without irritation and leaves a nice glow. I will not however pretend this is a all in one miracle product. But a BR routine has changed my skin.

Saw immediate results using this product but it can be a bit harsh on sensitive skin.
