We have fed our sixteen year old shihtzu bil-jac dog food since she was a puppy. She is doing well and has never had any issues with the food. We switched to reduced fat as she got older and her and our yorkie love it!

My dog loved this food. Not sure hope much it helps with weight but my dog has no issues eating it. I have tried other brands but my dog favors this one.

I had never heard of this brand before until my mother bought it for her dog. My Pug ate it up like it was a snack. I was hesitant to make the change because he has a sensitive stomach and I wasn’t sure how this would do with him because he was on science diet for sensitive stomach. I was pleasantly surprised at how well he has done on this food. It’s a little hidden secret that no one really knows about because I’ve noticed it’s not super easy to get. It’s also a bit pricier however I love the idea of the food being primarily all chicken. You can absolutely tell it’s quality. I would say the one con is that it is not available in a lot of stores or on Amazon and I’ve had to order it through other websites that aren’t always as ideal.
