It's creamy and delicious! It is easy to cook, I added canned of chicken and sweet peas when it's done cooking. And there I have a complete meal with protein and fiber. Recommended for a quick, easy and delicious meal.
In a hurry or low on funds to get you by until next week and still need to eat then look no further as Betty Crocker Tuna Helper Tetrazzini is made with natural ingredients that will be a sure hit when you serve it to the family, I like to spice mine up just a tab bit to make it a little fancier but this is perfectly good all on it's own.
Our family favorite
I love this tuna helper, this is my 2nd helping. You can also make it with chicken its really good. I love the noodles they use in this. It's soo good .
I love the Tuna helper much more than the hamburger helper. I always had a hard time figuring out what to do for dinner with a can of tuna and when I tried this I was pleasantly surprised. Tastes great, easy and quick to make and the price was good. Love it! I recommend this product.
I’m not much of a seafood lover, but I stand by this pasta. It is such a comforting meal and so easy to make. It pairs perfectly with bread and butter and a cold fall night! I’ve eaten this pasta since I was a child, so imagine how upset I was when my local Walmart didn’t stock this product anymore! I went without it for awhile, but was lucky to find a pack being sold on Amazon! I’m happy to say I can enjoy this product again, because I greatly missed it!
This is good, I will sometimes not add any tuna and just eat in as a pasta. Although, the tuna does add a little bit of flavor to it. I don't eat this very often, as I try to eat more home made type of meals but this is good for a quick lunch or dinner. Super easy to make and I would recommend if you like these types of meals.
Pretty good for a helper, it's got a good taste that the kids love, I ran out of tuna so I used ground turkey instead and it was pretty good.
I ate the Betty Crocker Tetrazzini tuna helper for dinner last night. We substituted the tuna for chicken because we didn’t have any tuna. This dinner was so easy to make. The meal was filling, creamy, and delicious! I would like to try this again with tuna but I’d also eat it again with chicken. I highly recommend it!
There's a trick to making this edible. Actually, there are several tricks. First of all, use real butter instead of margarine. It makes a difference. Second, use a wire whisk to stir the sauce. If you don't, you'll get those little fake cheese balls in the finished product that some people consider a delicacy but personally I don't. Finally, use a firmer tuna like albacore. I usually prefer chunk light but with this product it produces too soft of a result. You need a flakier tuna to offset the texture of the noodles in cheese sauce (these noodles do not cook al dente). But heck, if you're going to the trouble of using real butter and fancier tuna and breaking out the wire whisk, why not just make cheesy tuna noodles from scratch?
This is one of my go to meal-in-a-snap products. A can of tuna...I use 2 cans..., Betty Crocker Tuna Helper with seasoning packet, liquid and your skillet casserole is done. I usually serve it with a simple salad. As a bonus, you don't have to use tuna. You can add any meat of choice or even mushrooms as a meat alternative. These Betty Crocker pasta products are great for adding in alternative ingredients to make it your own.
