Bethesda PS4 - Fallout 4
Fallout 4 has been an amazing game. I highly recommend getting the Game of the Year edition of the game now that it is out because once you play it, you'll want to play through the DLCs. With the DLCs, I recommend saving Nuka-World for the last one since it will affect your main game experience. This game does not have as many glitches as New Vegas did, but it had a main one that disallowed me from furthering the Brotherhood of Steel plot line. Other than that major glitch, I have only encountered maybe 1 or 2 others. The graphics in this game are beautiful, and I love the option of playing as a female character in the Fallout series. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a game that will take a long time to play and has the ability to be replayed.
Fallout 4 is the type of game where you play it and play it and play it and eventually you get to the point where it feels a little boring. However, when it comes time to sell things you really don’t want to sell Fallout 4 so you don’t. A month or two down the line you decide you want to play it again and so you get on it and then you play through it more and more and more and that cycle just repeats itself. I give it 5 stars for that exact reason. There are very few games I can go back and want to play but Fallout 4 is one of those games for me. It’s overall simply fantastic. And there’s mods on it now as well so even if you get bored you can just mess around with those.
One of my favorite game that I had ever played! I was over my friends and she had me play it, instantly I love it and bought it as soon as I left her house! This game is a post-apocalyptic action role-playing video game that takes place in the year 2287 after a nuclear wipeout! You goal is to survive, help others, kill the monster and bad guys and level up! The story to the game is awesome the survival aspect is awesome...the game is just awesome in general. I recommend it to anyone who is into these types of games and who is looking for something new!
This is by far my favorite game of all time. As a massive fan of the Fallout universe, I expected this game to blow me away, and it exceeded my expectations. You can play hours of side quests and build up your allegiance with whatever factions you choose before even getting to the real meat of the main storyline. I’ve played over 400 hours on one game and while I’ve completed the main quest I still haven’t done and seen everything. If you’re a gamer who enjoys getting lost in huge open world and the fact that you can tailor your own storyline this game is for you. Also, the settlement creation part of the game is a whole other level of awesome. You can spend even more hours building neighborhoods & recruiting settlers. On top of all this there are countless hours of DLC with even more storyline...and you can start the whole thing over and play through completely differently if you do choose. It’s a great game that everyone should play at least once.
It made my heart patter! It’s really cool to able to see what the world was like before the bombs. They included many things (some people may not like) like companion affinity and workshops, which I thought was really cool! If you played fallout 3, you’ll be sure to find Easter eggs in this game! The only major thing I didn’t really like is that they removed the whole karma system. But other than that, it is an awesome game!
I really love the story line and the adventures they send you on are fun. I got to level 30 before I stated to use cheats! after that I quickly kept leveling up. (Yes I'm on of those people who like to use cheats lol I don't care it was taking forever to unlock stuff in vats!) I love being able to make choices that can change the outcome of the game. I also like being able to create how my player looks.
I'm going to be honest this is the first fallout game I had ever played and I never planned on purchasing it because I'm not into the role playing genre. It was a gift and I thought well might as well try it. At first I didn't like it I didn't see the point but after a while of playing I ended up really enjoying it. I have finished the game and I find I still have more I can do so its a great game and I'm excited for the DLCS.
Fallout 4 is pretty awesome. I love the story-focused gameplay with aspects of shooters, RPG, and a few other genres. I love how detailed the whole game is but I still prefer Fallout 3 when it comes to storyline. If you liked Fallout 3 youll have fun with this one but the storyline of the previous one was more interesting.
Could have been a great game. According to my significant other, the characters seemed a bit dumbed down compared to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition - Playstation 4. Many people have had problems loading. It crashes often. They should just apologise and recall this game. There are far too many bugs and issues!
Fallout will always have my heart. Hands down my favorite series. Fallout 4 was not as great as Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas; however, it is still an awesome game. The replayability is one of the best out there, and the story will leave you on edge. I have put in so much time into this game. NO REGRETS.
Q & A
Does this follow the story of previous game or is it a new story?
Is the new Far Harbor DLC worth it? My PS4 won't let us play games and I'm dying to play it but wanna make sure it's worth it before I do.
Do you need to play the other ones before you play this one?
Do the graphics on this game distract you? I'm used to great graphics on the next gen games and I'm worried I'll get annoyed if they're not as good as I'm used to.
I'm not really a gamer but I'm willing to try. So is this a great game to start with?
