The empire of tamriel is on the edge. The high king of skyrim has been murdered. Alliances form as claims to the throne are made. In the midst of this conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons, long lost to the passages of the elder scrolls, have returned to tamriel. The future of skyrim, even the empire itself, hangs in the balance as they wait for the prophesized dragonborn to come; a hero born with the power of the voice, and the only one who can stand amongst the dragons. Choose from hundreds of weapons, spells, and abilities. The new character system allows you to play any way you want and define yourself... see more...

I am not a player myself as I am unable to figure out how to opperate a controller. I however made my fiance buy this game more for me than for him. I love watching this game, it's something we can do together. I get to help him pick classes, and find treasures. I love this game it's like watching a movie where you get to make the decisions and there are never ending possibilities!!

I can't even count the number of hours my husband and I spent playing this game. It's unlike any other game in terms of freedom to build your character and choose what experience you will have. There are so many different quests and the world is so huge that you will be entertained for hours and will even be tempted to replay the game with a new character. Definitely a must play

I received a copy of Skyrim shortly after it released and it is still my go to game over two and a half years later. The storylines unfold at your convenience, there is very little "train on the tracks" to this game. The graphics are amazing and with very few exceptions, if you can see it, you can go to it. Each expansion only makes the game that much more fun. I will never tire of this game. The only draw back I have found is if you don't catch a glitch and replay through, it can ruin your ability to complete plotlines.

It's a fun game and the graphics are certainly a step up from Oblivion. I just feel like the game was too massive. Midway through, you have so many quests open, it's a little overwhelming. But with that said, still one of the best games I've played.

Talk about my kind of crack! I played this game because all the guys I hang with raved about it. I was pleasantly surprised by how diverse I could go with my characters skill tree. There's no set time to get quests done and I found myself always wandering off to so something else instead of what I should be doing. The storyline is engaging, though I would've liked to see a little more lore put in the mechanics of the game, (argonians not attacking dark elves on sight?)

All in all a good game that entertains for hours.

The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is extremely ambitious, and at its core, extremely successful. While overreaches in certain areas, it has much to offer in terms of freedom and volume of content. When you look back on the experience, it's not the rough spots that'll stand out, but the broad, heroic feeling of being the powerful and change-affecting center of a richly constructed world.

Based on the trailers this game looked amazing! Starting it out the customizing of the character, the extensive interaction with the world, the graphic, and the story line all seemed amazing. It quickly fizzled out for me though. There was too much to distract me, I thought it was lame that you could essentially pause the game mid-fight in order to take a potion, and the idea of only being able to use two spells/actions at a time seemed very limited. The game was pretty, but I felt that it was a waste of my money.

I just started the game and so far its a very interesting game. it is very detailed when it comes to creating your characters, you have several races to choose from and if you don't like what they have to offer and you have a steam account you can always add on more stuff. so it has no end to the additions you can put into the game you just keep on adding more addons from steam

I had been anticipating this game for quite awhile so when it finally came out I had to be reminded to eat and breathe. The game had so much to offer and with just the customization alone took my breath away. I think it took me 2 hours to make my Nord! It's a very addicting game that offers a vast world for exploration and most of the time takes you at the edge of your seat.
