The empire of tamriel is on the edge. The high king of skyrim has been murdered. Alliances form as claims to the throne are made. In the midst of this conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons, long lost to the passages of the elder scrolls, have returned to tamriel. The future of skyrim, even the empire itself, hangs in the balance as they wait for the prophesized dragonborn to come; a hero born with the power of the voice, and the only one who can stand amongst the dragons. Choose from hundreds of weapons, spells, and abilities. The new character system allows you to play any way you want and define yourself... see more...

I can't say i didn't enjoy Skyrim, but i can say that i became bored of it quite quickly. Every dungeon was the same: draugrs, some claw, and a word of power. SNORE! If they were to give me more dragons to fight that would have been awesome, but no. Instead i had to fight Zombies that could also use thu'ums much weaker to my own. It was a challenge most of the time. Every perk tree made you completely overpowered too early in the game. It was nice to have better graphics but not at the cost of easy game play, a glitchy world, and an unnecessary large amount of caves. You know something is wrong when you fear bears more than dragons.

Skyrim is one of the best games out there, flawlessly putting together a unique experience for every player. The vast size of the world is amazing and will take quite some time for any player to fully see every part of it. The gameplay is fun and entertaining, the different weapons and abilities allow a player to battle any foe with their preferred method of attacking. At its core Skyrim is a must have for every gamer and will no doubt leave one playing for hours on end.

I have been a big fan of all Elder Scroll games. I could not wait for this game and got it for Christmas when it came out. I still have yet to finish since with every update and every expansion their is more to do. I love it and can't wait to see what comes next. I have beta tested the stuff they are doing for online of this. So far it seems to be like it will be fun sadly though I will probably wait till the big hype over it is down due to all the lag it is going to produce.

This game is simply awesome. Its not a game you will blow through in an hour, its actually going to take some time to get through the whole story and the game play is pretty good. With the option of either being able to play in first person or third person, it offers a lot of flexibility for most gamers. However, the greatest part of this game is the ability for gamers to mod it. This is going to keep the story alive by adding as much to it as you could imagine. Plus, if there is something that you think could be better with 90% of the game, you can make it better! this game has sucked over 250 hours of my life and its still counting! :D

I love this game and easily have 70+ hours into this game with many different characters all at different levels. I enjoy the ability to be able to go off on your own and do whatever, you don't have to do any of the main quest until your ready. The character customization is great giving you a wide range of facial features such as eyes, and hair choices as well as colors. My favorite part of the game is exploring dungeons and finding treasure or some secret area, and the best part is that it never seems to become boring and tedious there is always something to do may it be a quest or just hunting animals or even building a house.

What is a game without its glitches?

Another masterpiece from Bethesda!

This game was beautifully made and was almost as great as it's predecessor. While Skyrim was gorgeous and the new styles added to it were fantastic, it didn't have the depth of factions or quests like Oblivion did. All in all, still one of my favorite games ever!

Bethesda has long since been my favorite gaming company, from the day they released Fallout. When I bought Skyrim (the night it was released!) I knew it would be even bigger and better than Fallout. The graphics are mind blowing, the story lines are well crafted, and there's so much to do in the game that you'll never be able to get through it all. They've since released two downloadable expansions, Dawnguard and Hearthfire, both of which add even more to the game.

One of the best games ever conceived. I love the elder scrolls series. Awesome concepts and story lines. ONE thing that would make it the best game of all time is the option for 1-2 other players to play co-op. Elder scrolls online tried that but I think that went a bit overboard.

If you haven't played Skyrim. You absolutely need to.

There is so much going on in this game that it is very hard to get bored with it. You have different races and builds you can try, So many quests, and there's a huge world to explore and immerse yourself in. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who's a fan of the previous Elder Scrolls or anyone who is a fan of Open World RPG's

The best so far. I had the misfortune of playing this before Oblivion so when I did get to play Oblivion it's inferiority was almost painful. The graphics are great, the world is huge, and the options are endless. There are so many stories and quest lines to follow that being bored almost isn't an option. You aren't bound to anything, so if you want to go off and do your own thing that's fine. You could run through the woods and hunt, or save the country -your choice.
