I have been on the lookout for a light coverage foundation that has SPF, as all of the BB Creams I have used are too orange for my skin tone. I was super excited when I saw that Benefit was coming out with a foundation with SPF that was a light coverage foundation (medium to full tends to look really dry and cakey on my face).

The packaging itself is really cute - it has a smiley face on the front with a pink reflective cap. The bottle is only a couple of inches long, and it holds 1oz of product. A huge warning to when you open it the first time as it tends to spill out the top. It is a squeeze bottle as well to get the product out.

The product itself is pretty runny, but that's not uncommon for a light coverage foundation. It blends really well onto the skin, and if you're like me and you LIKE light coverage, this will be great for you. For other's, if you try to get a medium coverage, you are going to be using a lot of product. The color 01 Fair was PERFECT for my skin tone - it didn't come out too orange or too pink. It covered up a lot of the redness in my face without getting rid of my freckles and masking my face completely.

Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with this foundation for my everyday wear. I highly recommend it for the people out there that like light foundations!

I bought 2 of these in the Mini size to try out. I got shade colors #1 & #2, @ $10 bucks each, so $20bucks for 2 sample bottles. I knew it was a mini size, but I thought the bottle itself would have been a little bigger. But it was SO TINY! (Legit my thumb is bigger then the whole thing) The bottle was SOOO adorably cute, that I wasn't as mad about how small they are. So I opened bottle shade #1, and it was fine. Just a little light for me, but whatever, no problems still.. But then, bottle shade #2 came broken! The little blocker/stopper had broken off into the bottle tip, and was stuck! I mean I couldn't push it out with the bottle pressure, nor could I push it in with a pen or tweezers. It was just stuck. So NO product at all would come out. :( This made me sad, as #2 seemed like it would be perfect for me. So I called customer service from the site I shop on, and luckily they're going to resend me a new one. Hopefully this one won't come broken already. I’m torn when it comes to this product - it’s not bad, but it’s not anything too amazing either. First of all, there is only 12 shades. According to the brand Benefit Cosmetics, each shade is supposed to be able to accommodate multiple skin tones. How that true that is? Not entirely sure! I feel if that’s the case, then they should of advertised and labeled it as a CC cream, rather than a foundation, seeing that CC creams are designed to work for multiple skin tones for each shade. The packaging is cute. I like the rectangular shape. It does come off a slight kid-ish for me. As for the formula of this product, I was surprised at the amount of coverage it provided - I will give it that! I was able to cover any discoloration - the overall finish was beautiful - it’s like your skin but BETTER! You’re still able to see your natural skin poking through. As far as the wear and longevity of this formula goes, it’s not the best
- it’s certainly not as long lasting when compared to my foundations in my collection. Overall, I think this is a decent foundation for someone who prefers their makeup to be light or enjoys “no makeup” makeup looks!

I was looking for a light coverage foundation so I decided to try this product. It is indeed a light foundation, but it can be built up. I find it best applied with the fingers or a brush and then a sponge used to smooth any lines or brush strokes.

I tried it in two different conditions. When wearing it during the day at the office for 12-14 hours, it performs fantastically. It lasts all day and does not break up on skin. It didn't get overly oily either. It looks amazing and quite natural all day.

I also tried it on a long, hot, humid day that I spent outdoors. I layered extra sunscreen (Drunk Elephant) underneath because I was planning on being outdoors all day. This product went to heck pretty quickly. It is definitely not humidity and sweat resistant. It even started to itch. It was an utter and  complete mess by the time I got home late that evening. I had worn the foundation for approximately 12 hours.

Worn under the right conditions, this foundation is pretty great.

I have to admit I was initially drawn to this foundation because of the packaging (super cute even though it's a bit on the juvenile side). This has quickly become one of my favorite foundations for the summer time. It's super light coverage and has a very liquidy consistency that makes it easy to apply to the face. I don't think this is the most long lasting foundation, but it definitely holds up in hot weather for about 6 hours or so. I also like that this is one of the more affordable foundations on the market (well compared to other brands sold at sephora).

Some cons are that the shade range is pretty limited, so I definitely wouldn't recommend it if you have a darker skin tone. I also have heard some people have problems with the packaging, in which it would start leaking. I personally haven't had this problem.

I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a light weight foundation for the summer and you don't need a lot of coverage.

I was shade matched off the shelf for this at Sephora but I don't think it's my proper shade. I appreciate how light and buildable it is, and it's easy to apply with a beauty blender. To be honest I just liked the adorable packaging, I may pick it up in my shade again because it lasted alright(not great but I'm really oily in a veeeery humid climate) but I kind of like the pale cast it gives me when I'm going for more gothy or grunge looks. It'd be a great light, buildable foundation for a non-oily person. I used Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Face Primer to prime, and e.l.f. Cosmetics Matte Magic Mist & Set to set, I would not recommend the setting spray but I literally cannot live without Porefessional.

This was recommended to me by someone at Ulta. I have combination to oily skin. This is a light but buildable foundation. It’s very easy to apply and when you first put it on it looks really great. I applied it after using the benefits POREfessional. It’s very light on the skin and doesn’t feel like your actually wearing foundation. However about 2 to 3 hours after I applied the foundation my face would start to get slightly oily. After about 8 hours the foundation looked so bad that my face looked wet. It also was separating around my nose and mouth really badly. I would not recommend this to anyone with oily skin.

I actually really like this foundation! To be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of Benefit Cosmetics foundations. But this one is different! The formula is super creamy and leaves my skin feeling smooth. I typically like full coverage, but this is nice for my days off or my no makeup makeup days. I have combo skin, and this foundation doesn’t make my t-zone any more oily than it already is. Overall I love this product!

First of all if you get the mini of this product, be prepared for a TRUE MINIATURE! It's tiny. Though to be fair, a little does seem to go a long way with this particular foundation. I did like the glow it seemed to give my skin and the tone was perfect. The only thing I didn't like was the longevity of its wear seemed pretty short. It also doesn't have the amount of coverage that I'm looking for, but that was sort of to be expected. I think if it were a bit more thick in consistency, it would be a bit better.

I really like this foundation. I prefer the thinner consistency and I like how there is a ball inside to ensure the product is all mixed up.  Some people were complaining about the product shooting from the top but I never had a problem with that. The packaging is super adorable and not bulky.  The shade I got was #2 and it's honestly perfect for fair skin with yellow undertones.  The finish is not matte, but more of a natural finish and the thin consistency just blends right into the skin.  I do have combo skin, so by the end of the day most of the foundation is gone on my oily nose, but that's with ANY foundation. I can see myself repurchasing this because the color match is great, the packaging is great, and I love the formula.
