Bella Pierre 9-Stack Shimmer Powder Set
Top Questions See all 9 Q&A
I had come across the brand at a kiosk on an out of town mall visit. They were asking a pretty penny for a stack of eyeshadows. The pigmentation was definitely intense but I couldn't bring myself to bite the bullet in dish out that amount when I could get a whole let more product for that price.
Suddenly, i began receiving Belle Pierre cosmetics in my Boxycharm subscription box and I was amazed at the pigmentation and how vibrant the colours were...
I'm an avid couponer and always looks for was to save. I stumbled across an entire thread on Groupon selling their 9 Shimmer stacks. I purchased two, with special Groupon email offers I was able to grab two stacks for $15!!!!!! Nearly 75% savings if not more. 18 shadows for $15!!!
Eveeytime I'm sent a special coupon, i plan to grab another set.
These swatch beautifully and even more amazing when wet with a setting spray or mixing medium.
Depending on where you get it, it can be a great value! The individual pots are great and have more product but the shimmer stacks are a convenient way to have several colors at a time. They are a little tricky to use since the stack can get messy when trying to get the product out and there is no way to close each individually without putting it back in the stack. I know some people have a problem with that but it doesn't bother that much at present and I just like the product.
Now on to my review of the shadows: I LOVE THEM!!! They are really silky and they don't give my eyes that papery old look that sometimes comes with using talc products. This is mica and the shimmers are beautiful!!! Gorgeous!!! Superb. They swatch so beautifully in person and now I'm looking into other Balla Pierre cosmetics. I have the blush (Desert Rose - which is such a natural flushed color) and this next product is EVERYTHING. Their makeup base (eye primer/concealer) is amazing. Not only does it massively extend the wear of any eye makeup, it really does help with reducing fallout of the eyeshadows (it's a must have).
One just has to remember to use less product. A little does go a long way. I also know you can use the colors for an eyeliner, lip color, blush, and nail color. I haven't used them that way yet but I'm sure I may (or might not because I love them for my eyeshadow. I totally back this product and what I've tried so far. It has my stamp of endorsement and I wish you all healthy and lovely eyes.
The price is a bit high, but these pigments are great dry or wet. I absolutely love the shades that you can get. A bonus is that you can mix them to get custom shades.
You can get the stacks on Amazon for around $38 or on the bellapierre website for $90.
