Not quite sure how this works and still trying to figure it out. I don’t know how to set this plug up and I watched videos but still confused

I have tried other smart plugs & it’s on par with others. I like that it connects to apple HomeKit, but I can’t get it to connect in the wemo app to be able to connect it to my Alexa. Not the end of the world, but less appealing. I’ll keep trying to connect.

I received this product for free from @influenster and @belkin in exchange of my honest review. This Belkin Wemo Smart Plug with Thread is an amazing gadget. It is really essy to set up and use. I love how compact and that you can even stack two plugs in one electrical outlet. This gadget allows you to control any device from anywhere through the Home App, HomeKit-enabled sensor, Wemo Stage or by asking Siri. You’ll need an IPhone, iPad or HomePod to be able to use it. I like that this plug allows me to turn on and off any lamp or device in my house from anywhere I go. This feature is really useful specially when traveling so I can time the lamps to turn on and off at certain times so it looks like there is someone at the house. This plug is also perfect for Christmas because sometimes the plug for the Christmas’s trees is in a hard to reach spots and having to connect and disconnect the lights everyday is a hard task. With this plug you just need to ask Siri to turn the lights off and that’s it. I love that with the app you can schedule timers to turn on or off whatever device you want so you don’t have to worry about remembering to do it. Also with the app you can check if the devices are on or not. This is a really useful gadget and I’ll definitely buy a few more to place around the house.

I love how easy it is to manage through the home app. With a simple tap my salt rock lamp turns on and off with no problem. Easy to pair up with the app, and has shortcuts for easier access on the drop down menu on IPhones.
