BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector® Liquid Highlighter
- "every collaboration between becca cosmetics and jacklyn hill has always been absolutely amazing, so this shimmer skin perfector on the shade champagne pop is no different. it is not this mega intense glow but it is perfect to mix into your foundation or wear it as a base prior to foundation, so your skin will achieve this beauitful healthy radiance. it can be an incredible highlight though if you apply a powder highlighter over it." in 407 reviews
- "beautiful highlighter. it gives you a natural and bright youthful glow. it's very blendable, i would recommend applying it with a wet beauty blender or your fingers. i'd recommend this to everyone! it looks really good on the high points of your face." in 307 reviews
- "i have the color champagne pop and absolutely love it. i have a really light skin tone and it looks good on me, but if you have a darker complexion it will look even more beautiful. the only reason i gave it four stars is because it is not always practical to apply for rushed mornings. if you are like me, i would recommend using the powder for faster application. Absolute favorite cream/liquid highlighter...at least for the moment. Opal is a great choice for my NW15 skin with slight warm undertones, and the wand makes it easy to swipe it on and then pat in or (carefully) use a brush to blend it. My only complaint is that--compared to the pressed powder--this can lack a bit of the oomph and require a few applications if you really want to Glow with a capital G. That being said, having a low-key liquid highlighter is never a bad thing and works for my lifestyle, so I'm perfectly happy with this buy.
Becca's shimmering Skin Perfector was the first highlighter I tried. I got a sample size and quickly realized I needed to purchase the full size! I do like the packaging in that you press to get the product out rather than contaminating a product by dipping your fingers into a jar. With that said, you only need a very little bit and the product comes out rather fast. So I try to partially depress the plunger to get the desired amount. Usually i end up with a little too much. It is very shimmery and does deliver the iconic Becca glow!
I'm not liquid highlight girl I love my powder better but I decide to try this and I love the consistency of this product, I guess if your blending sponge can not be too wet otherwise when you pat this product will lift some of your foundation, and leave a harsh line on your face.. once you blend well it became one with the rest of your make up, overall Is a good product the color pay off is great, the top of your cheeks will shine like a diamond..
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Topaz is a must-have for the Spring and Summer. My skin tone is deep, and it provides an amazing glow with a bronze tint. It works quite well with the Too Faced Royal Oil and the Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Shimmering Body Oil. #becca #glow #influenster #topaz #bronzer
Although Opal is described as a golden opal pearl, I actually find it looking more pinkish on my medium skin tone. It works out for me and I like it, but just a heads up. I love the formula, it's very lightweight and easy to blend, not to mention versatile, as another reviewer mentioned. It's definitely not a BAM highlight color, being very subtle and dewy. In fact, I use this more to add dewiness rather than a highlight. If you want a highlight, this would be a great base for your powder, but otherwise might be too sheer alone.

The queen of all things shimmery out did herself again. This is the best liquid highlighter ever created. It goes on totally evenly and smooth. There are tons of colors for all skin tones determined by your undertones. It has a shimmery, dewy natural finish and lasts all day without needing to reapply! It’s made with ultra fine pearls and mineral pigments which makes for a stunning luminous natural glow. It is seriously hydrating from then aloe and avocado and doesn’t make me oily at all. This is the best highlighter there is.

I'm a huge highlighter enthusiast and I must say this is a really nice product if you're looking to get a dewy glow look. The color comes on as a nice shimmery gold. It does kind of go on a little sheer but I think it's because this is supposed to be a little more subtle than a bold crazy highlighter. The only issue I have is that it doesn't give as much of a glow as the powder version of moonstone. However, if you're looking for a more wet dewy look, this is best to use versus a matte look. I would recommend this.
I really love this stuff. I like to put it on underneath the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed Highlighter in the same shade to create a more intense highlight. The only downside is the price. I don't think this should be as expensive as it is. However this highlight is extremely BEAUTIFUL especially when layered with a powder on top. I look forward to trying Maybelline Facestudio® Master Strobing Liquid™ Illuminating Highlighter and see if that works the same as this liquid highlighter.

I honestly wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this but I absolutely LOVE it! It’s buildable so you can choose to have a subtle glow or a more noticeable highlight depending on how much you apply! I’ve also put it on under my foundation and not only did it make my skin appear to have a healthy glow, my skin felt amazing and my foundation applied like a dream! It smells amazing and I always receive compliments about my “glow” when I wear it. You honestly don’t have to use much either so it has lasted me a long time!
I have this in opal. It is a little dark for my skintone but I make it work. I actually use this kind of like a blush on days I wear nothing else on my cheeks, or as a blush topper to turn a pink blush into a rose-gold one. I also have mixed this in with tinted moisturizer or foundation. It provides a great glow without being too over the top. I sometimes layer a lighter powder highlighter on top of it when I want more wattage. I however think the price is too high and there are other, similar products at a much lower price.
Q & A
Would you recommend this shade for fair skin?
I'm a fan of other Becca products but I haven't gotten this yet. Is it easy to go really overboard with this and look almost clown-ish? And if you do go overboard, how easy is it to fix it? Do you have to basically start over with your makeup in that area or is it fairly easy to either rub off/cover up?
This may be a silly question but should you only use highlighter if you foundation?
Does this give a subtle, work appropriate glow?
How do u apply this?
