PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
  • "every collaboration between becca cosmetics and jacklyn hill has always been absolutely amazing, so this shimmer skin perfector on the shade champagne pop is no different. it is not this mega intense glow but it is perfect to mix into your foundation or wear it as a base prior to foundation, so your skin will achieve this beauitful healthy radiance. it can be an incredible highlight though if you apply a powder highlighter over it." in 407 reviews
  • "beautiful highlighter. it gives you a natural and bright youthful glow. it's very blendable, i would recommend applying it with a wet beauty blender or your fingers. i'd recommend this to everyone! it looks really good on the high points of your face." in 307 reviews
  • "i have the color champagne pop and absolutely love it. i have a really light skin tone and it looks good on me, but if you have a darker complexion it will look even more beautiful. the only reason i gave it four stars is because it is not always practical to apply for rushed mornings. if you are like me, i would recommend using the powder for faster application. " in 80 reviews

I was really hoping that I would get the pressed powder version of this but I am so happy with the liquid. The highlight is so smooth and creamy , super blendable and lightweight

This highlighter is so good but I would rather get the powder form instead. The liquid form has a really off smell to it,and it's hard to blend out sometimes and often comes out patchy.

Super moisturizing and tinted perfectly! It's buildable and shines enough so you don't look oily!
It's long lasting as well! Sephora is the best place to buy it! I would but it over and over again!

When I came across BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid I squealed. It was the trifecta I was looking for - skin perfector, shimmering, and liquid! I swooped up the Opal skin perfector and raced home. I was ready to glow and shimmer! For the next three weeks is tried every technique I could think of. I so wanted this to be my Holy Grail of shimmer and glow! I tried it before primer. I tried it mixed with my foundation. I tried adding it as a liquid highlighter with a brush, my finger, and a sponge. I so wanted to love it! No matter what technique I used, it MAGNIFIED every pore, crease, and hair on my face. In fact, I had no idea I had so many hairs on my face! It was a bit scary. It also always felt a bit tacky. So in summary, as a woman of 55, this was not a product for me. However, I do believe it would be a wonderful option for a younger person.

I love using this under foundation to give a “glowing from within” look. Not technically a primer but I do find that it helps my makeup last throughout the day as well.

Would you recommend this shade for fair skin?

I'm a fan of other Becca products but I haven't gotten this yet. Is it easy to go really overboard with this and look almost clown-ish? And if you do go overboard, how easy is it to fix it? Do you have to basically start over with your makeup in that area or is it fairly easy to either rub off/cover up?

This may be a silly question but should you only use highlighter if you foundation?

I saw this mini at Sephora and I wanted to try it out before I buy the bigger one, but would Opal be too dark for a light skin tone? And does anyone know if the pressed, powder, or cream is better?
