I have this in the shade Opal and it is a beautiful natural golden color. I could see it working for almost every skintone! This a a dewy but intense highlight and a little goes a very long way. I only use the tiniest dot on my cheekbones. It is a great value for the price because it will take you forever to use it up. I've heard people say this formula would be best for dry skin but I have oily skin and it works well for me too. The only reason I took off one star is that sometimes when I apply it over my base makeup it disturbs the makeup underneath.
Wow this Becca shimmering skin perfector in the shade opal is amazing I honestly thought it wasnt going to do anything at all, but the glow I had all day was so stunning. I love the matte look, but since the summer is coming I kind of been leaning towards a sun kissed glow look. I totally recommend it I mix it with my moisturizer, and just to be extra i pop it on the highest points of my face after I apply foundation.
The BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal is absolutely gorgeous. I have a iighter skin tone and it still looked gorgeous. I have rather deep pores on my cheek area and was shocked that it didn't emphasize my pores. I felt it had a decent lasting power. It did fade throughout the day. However, when I placed a powder highlighter over top, it lasted much longer. I will say this isn't a "natural" highlight at all in my opinion. I would also advise to not apply with fingers or it leaves a harsh line/awkward splotches. I used my Beauty Blender and it blended out gorgeously. The price is a bit steep, so I have just purchased the deluxe sample size when I run into it due to the fact that I don't use a HUGE amount of highlighter on the day-to-day.

I initially hesitated to purchase this product given the high price tag; however, I have used this EVERYDAY since I purchased it over a year and a half ago, and I've still easily got 1/3 of the bottle left. This product has traveled to Africa, the Caribbean, and South America with me. I'm not a big foundation person, so I wear this by itself a lot and continue to get compliments about my glowing skin- including after a 13 hour plane ride after 27+ hours of traveling and sleeping in awkward positions. I will never go without this product ever again. It gives you a very nice (and build able) glow, no shimmer or glitter- very natural. For nights out I swipe the powder on over it for a more dramatic effect.
I love this so much !!!!! I have dry skin and it was totally worth the money . I apply primer first then the becca shimmering liquid in opal then my foundation i cream contour and i add a bit more of the becca shimmer to highlight and i look like a glowing goddess !!!! I set it with setting spray but i also wear it set with powder contour bronzer etc . I think it would look great on oily skin as well as long as its set . It does moisturize your skin and it leaves your skin feeling fresh and it helps have a barries so when you have your mame upon it kind of let you face breath and feel light weight because it just melts into your skin! I also love applying this on my body like my chest and collar bone looks so bomb My holy grail !!! 💕🔥"

LOOOOVEEEE THIS HIGHLIGHT !!!! This liquid highlight makes such a natural glowy wet look highlight and I absolutely love those, the sun hits off of it like crazy and when you apply a powder highlight on top it really keeps it in place. Sometimes when I'm about to run out of foundation I like to use 3 pumps of it and it makes my skin flawless! I at first bought the sample pack for 20$ and I immediately fell in love and had to run and get the full bottle. HIGHLY recommend for my highlight lovers !
Quick simple highlight. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I have oily skin and a dewy face isn't something I normally go for...but purchased this baby and let me say this makes me glow! This product is great for all skin tones, doesn't make you look oily, last all day long and adds that J-Lo glow we all know we want. It can be mixed with your foundation or used to highlight, I am sure this product will last because a little will go a long way.
This is my life right now!! I had a deluxe sample of opal and fell in love so I bought the full size! I love layering it under the pressed version for when I want an intense highlight. What I love most about it though is that alone it makes your skin look so naturally dewy. I will wear this and just a little bit of concealer under my eyes and feel gorgeous. When it's on the face alone you can see how it makes your skin glow, but when you look close in a mirror there is no traces if glitter or shimmer or pigment. It is absolutely amazing!
I received this highlighter in my Boxycharm box. It is a soft gold shade which works nicely with my deep skintone and remains natural. I typically mix it with my moisturizer after cleansing and adding toner and serum. It gives a subtle glow which looks nice under makeup. It also looks pretty as a highlight on the collarbone. I don't like it as much over foundation as it seems more difficult to apply smoothly without disturbing the makeup. I'd prefer the powder highlight in the same shade for a brighter, more in-your-face highlighter. A little goes a long way with the liquid highlighter and it should last a long time. If you like liquid highlighters, you'll likely love this subtle glow. Personally, I prefer powder and would not purchase at the retail price. I'm glad I was able to try it at a lower price through the subscription box.
Q & A
Would you recommend this shade for fair skin?
I'm a fan of other Becca products but I haven't gotten this yet. Is it easy to go really overboard with this and look almost clown-ish? And if you do go overboard, how easy is it to fix it? Do you have to basically start over with your makeup in that area or is it fairly easy to either rub off/cover up?
This may be a silly question but should you only use highlighter if you foundation?
Does this give a subtle, work appropriate glow?
I saw this mini at Sephora and I wanted to try it out before I buy the bigger one, but would Opal be too dark for a light skin tone? And does anyone know if the pressed, powder, or cream is better?
