BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector® Liquid Highlighter
- "every collaboration between becca cosmetics and jacklyn hill has always been absolutely amazing, so this shimmer skin perfector on the shade champagne pop is no different. it is not this mega intense glow but it is perfect to mix into your foundation or wear it as a base prior to foundation, so your skin will achieve this beauitful healthy radiance. it can be an incredible highlight though if you apply a powder highlighter over it." in 407 reviews
- "beautiful highlighter. it gives you a natural and bright youthful glow. it's very blendable, i would recommend applying it with a wet beauty blender or your fingers. i'd recommend this to everyone! it looks really good on the high points of your face." in 307 reviews
- "i have the color champagne pop and absolutely love it. i have a really light skin tone and it looks good on me, but if you have a darker complexion it will look even more beautiful. the only reason i gave it four stars is because it is not always practical to apply for rushed mornings. if you are like me, i would recommend using the powder for faster application. This is the best highlighter I've ever used! I love the soft touch packaging, and I'm always a fan of pump products. I either use this under my foundation or I mix a little with my foundation. It gives the skin an amazing glow. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the scent. It has sort of an old school, womanly perfume smell. Lol. I dont notice the smell after I've applied it though.
I think this color is not right for my skin tone. The formula is good and comes out like a thick consistency at first, but when you blend it out on the skin it’s a really lightweight and thin formula. I think this product is good for giving the body an over all glow. I’m not sure if I will be using this on my face. I just have other highlighters that I will reach for before this. Not impressed.

I like it but I don’t love it. It gives you a natural glow and you will have to layer it several time for it to show more glowing. I like to set it with the actual champagne pop highlighter and that gives a huge blinding highlight. I personally would just use the powder and skip the liquid but if you only want a little bit of glow then go for this one. I just like more blinding effect.

I recieved this Becca Shimmering Skin perfector liquid highlighter in my monthly Boxycharm subsctription. I was intitally hesitant to try it because I'm not a big fan of most liquid highlighters but let me be here to tell you that this one has completely changed my mind. It's absolutely stunning. If you're looking for an extra glow this is perfect for mixing in with your foundation. It will leave your skin glowing so beautifully.

I use this formula in the colors Opal and Pearl and WOW. One of my favorite highlight formulas and gets compliments every time. Opal is a beautiful pinky shade and Pearl is a dazzling white. There is also a gold shade that came in the set, Champagne Gold, which is STUNNING. Really beautiful and for an even greater effect, be sure to layer one of Becca’s powder highlighters on top. 🤩🤩🤩
I am in love! This is the most amazing highlighter! I received this in a boxycharm box and i love it! Its great to apply under your foundation or even mix it straight into your foundation. Its long lasting and gives you an amazing glow! I thought the gold would be too much on my skin tone but it is just the right amount of glow and it is build-able if you want a blinding highlight!
I give this 5 stars over the pressed highlighter solely for wearing it under foundation. If I am feeling dull in the winter time and want a natural glow, I will apply this after primer and before foundation on the high points of my face. This way when I set my foundation and apply a more natural powder highlight on top, it really pops and makes it seem like I am naturally glowing.
I tried so hard to like this. I used it as a highlighter but it just wasn't enough for me. I've mixed it into my foundation and I just didn't see enough of a difference to justify the price. I'll keep using it until it's gone because it is a beautiful color. However, I won't purchase this again. For 40 plus dollars I want my highlight to blind anyone that looks at me.
This formula is phenomenal. I love using it under foundation, on top the foundation and even just on those ways were I just don't use any powder or foundation and still have null a healthy glow.
Q & A
Would you recommend this shade for fair skin?
I'm a fan of other Becca products but I haven't gotten this yet. Is it easy to go really overboard with this and look almost clown-ish? And if you do go overboard, how easy is it to fix it? Do you have to basically start over with your makeup in that area or is it fairly easy to either rub off/cover up?
This may be a silly question but should you only use highlighter if you foundation?
Does this give a subtle, work appropriate glow?
I saw this mini at Sephora and I wanted to try it out before I buy the bigger one, but would Opal be too dark for a light skin tone? And does anyone know if the pressed, powder, or cream is better?
